White Top? What About White Sides?

I was wondering......

Has anyone ever painted their A-pillers white? We ordered a MCS in HB with the white roof and mirrors. But I'm assuming that the A-pillers will be black...correct? I wonder how they would look painted white? Are their any other areas that come painted black?

I'm just wondering how this would look. (we can't wait to get our new Mini)

That sounds like a nice idea.

Hahahaha! Sideburns!

I was just wondering if anyone had ever done it. Instead of a 3-tone car we'd have 2-tone cars. Maybe I'll try it when we get ours. I think you can by some white vinyl tape to "try it out".

Obviously if you have the black top/mirrors, then you're already 2-tone.

That's a good idea - vinyl is cheap, and easily removed. I know of at least one person who 'blacked out' his chrome with vinyl tape, so it can also be a semi-permanent solution. Post pics when you do it!

It's gonna be a while. We don't even have the car yet.

Why not "photoshop" it first to see what it looks like? Or cut some white thick garbage bags and attach to the "a" pillars just to see what it looks like before you paint/cover?

regards,
Red
