List of Mini Print Ads

Did one of you compile this?

Nice list of all the print advertisements for the Mini

http://www.libraryofmotoring.info/miniprintads.html

(I was looking for this because I heard rumors of a Mini ad that included stickers you could put on the car but I couldn't find it)

look closer?

I don't know about sticking them on a car, but the ad above the one with Evel Knievel (from the link you provided) has bogey stickers in the spirit of the ones that go on fighter planes. I might still have that one, I'll have to go upstairs and check.

Ooo, that was the one I was looking for. I heard it had stickers of things like dodge vipers

Just thought you guys might like a bit of insight toward the ads (and my first post, so hello!).

Mini advertising was handled in the US from launch until a few months ago by an agency in Miami called Crispin Porter & Bogusky. The Mini campaign really helped make them known, and they are now one of, if not the, "hottest" advertising agencies in the country (some say the world). The budget for the Mini launch was relatively small in advertising terms and was handled with no television in order to keep costs down.

CPB let Mini go a few months ago due to a conflict of interest with a new accout...Volkswagen. The VW account was being awarded by the marketing person who hired CPB for Mini at launch. Despite the fact that Mini had, in large part, made CPB known within the industry, the VW account was worth approximately ten times more.

Mini's advertising in the US is now being handled by an agency in Sausalito called Butler Shine and Stern. To the best of my knowledge, their work has not been released yet.

no wonder the new VW ads in the magazines have that "MINI" feel to it.
