First Cooper works car on Ebay Engine plate #1

This is the first ever New Mini to have been built by John Cooper Works and to have the "Works" badge and bears the engine plate no. 1.

This seems really familiar. I seem to recall it's been up for sale in the past at least once.

As I recall it was well over a year ago. Not sure if that means it was relisted or just the second owner putting it up for sale.

I know the original owner tried to seel it via NAM a few times always providing a link to the site tracking all the photo ops and reviews done about it. He was very nice and wanted this Cooper to have a nice home with an enthusiast who would love as much as he did. The fact he is in the UK I think prevented most sales, with the exceptions of maybe a hanful of collectors.
