Giving Props to MINI of Nashville

I just wanted to thank MINI of Nashville and my MA John Monk for helping me with all of my questions and ordering process. Ordering was very easy but the wait that followed was painful. It all became worth it when I took delivery today!

Again thanks John and MINI of Nashville I am sure my MINI and I have a lot of happy motoring in our future!!

John's a good guy no matter what I have to say about him.

Drillslinger. Look us up when you get here. We have a monthly dinner and several of us have started messing around with the local auto-cross club. Though you have been to the 'ring, you will still have fun on the Dragon which is 4 hours away.

I second that comment. John Monk is "THE MAN" . He was great to work with on the purchase of our Mini as well as our MANY questions about aftermarket products and mods. He is very knowledgeable, has owned a Dinan Mini and currently owns one of the coolest 06 JCWs around. Not to mention putting up with me every time I'm near Mini of Nashville and just have to drop in to see what's in the stable there. If you were anywhere near Nashville and thinking of getting a Mini he is definately the one to talk to. Especially if you want something a little different than the stock Mini.

John does know his stuff--I would like to throw out some kudos for his cohort Josh at MINI Nashville. He took care of my purchase. Great guy and by far the absolute BEST car buying experience ever. I would definately buy another car from them. I only wish they would do loaner cars like their BMW counterpart when the car is in for service.

SB, it'll probably be a little while until "Drill Bit" actually arrives but I'll definately be in touch

ALLCON:
Just to confirm, Mini of Nashville IS an authorized Dinan dealer too, right?

Drillslinger, they are. Jay Lilley will be the one to talk to. He is the parts manager and all around Dinan nut. If you go up there. You need to check out his Dinan Z3.

I want to second that Mini of Nashville is excellent! The service department is the best I have ever dealt with. They are helpful, honest, and seem to be caring. The mechanics there really loved my car with all the modifications. They had to replace a throw out bearing, oxygen sensor, and a small list of other things; they did a great job and even gave me advice on certain engine mantainence. After they replaced my thow out bearing in the clutch, they had to give it a "test drive"; I was outside looking at some cars on the lot and could hear my supercharger/exhaust screaming far far away . They covered it all under factory warranty no questions asked (thank god). They even gave me a new 3-series rental car for the day; not bad for a 20 year old college kid.

I think MINI of Nashville does a great job (Jeremy was my sales guy) but I wasn't impressed with the BMW of Nashville service department. The last couple of times they've been good, but the first couple.....let's just say my surveys weren't 5's. I wonder what inspired them to give you a loaner.....

I'm glad to see that everyone has had as good of an experience as I had with MINI of Nashville. It is also good to hear that most are happy with the service dept.

I still can't gete the smile off my face, and I gave my MINI his first of many baths tonight. It really is kind of relaxing to wash the MINI and I have never thought that with any of my other cars.

I hope to meet some fellow TN MINI owners soon!!

Well, this thread has opened up enough for this to be "Semi" on topic, but how long does it usually take to get from Huntsville up to Nashville? And how much is my AB w/ Lapis Blue int. gonna SUCK down south?

Others here have leather and enjoy it. Thought August can be a little rough no matter what you are in. MON is roughly 100-120 miles away depending on where at in Hunstville you'll be leaving from. Once you get on the interstate. It's a straight shot. Around a 1 hour and 45 minute drive.

Well, I'll be working on Redstone and want to live close. I currently drive around 63 miles one way and want to really cut down on my commute
When we order the MINI 'Bama wasn't even on our Radar so we went for the Dark colors... naturally I get orders to report to Redstone in JULY

Thanks

More kudos to MoN! I pestered them as a 'window shopper' for two years before I finally went home with MadMaXX. John sold him to me, and I couldn't be happier!

I can't wait to meet other Nashville/TN MINI owners either!
Speakin' of ... be at MoN in your MINI at 6 tomorrow night ... dinner and CARS at Stardust Drive-In!!!
