Estcoast, you're a ***. Obvious troll looking to start trouble. Do you really have nothing better to do? Made 5 posts on here. Four of which are you blabbing about your trade for a WRX. Don't need to waste time and space by creating 2 threads on the deal. The cars you are comparing are in 2 different classes. No **** the WRX is faster. But I killed 2 of them when I had my Lightning. And that was a 4500lb Ford pickup truck. If you didn't enjoy your MINI, then I'm sure none of us here want you to have one anymore or want to hear from you either. So be gone with ya.

The WRX is a nice car and has a lot going for it, but for me, I prefer the MINI.
For the WRX, I would have waited for the STI version.
While you will see us in the mirror on straightaheads or unpaved roads,
we will see you in our rearview mirrors in the bends.
All that aside, I hope you enjoy the WRX and don't miss the MINI.

Enjoy your WRX! As far as the rear-view? There are plenty of cars that can outrun the MINI, one blew my doors off on Saturday... Not sure that's the point of a MINI. You may have missed the point, and if you did, I am happy you opted out and found your calling.
It's all in the fun of motorin', not the drag race to get there. Remember, the faster you get there, the less time you spent getting there, and consequently, the less time you spent driving.
Remember, you can ony motor in a MINI.

I smell inferiority complex and poor sentance structure.
The WRX is a great car, it's fun to drive, handles great, and if you ignore all the turbo-lag, has awesome power. It is a different sort of car to the MINI, so comparisons are not relevent. Enjoy your WRX, just don't throw debris at my windshield.

the best thing is their are alot of stuff coming out for the mini the car is to new to have all the latest and greatest of performance items ....wont be long before we see you in are rear veiw bwaa hahaha 
the power that you will be able to get from that engine is not taped yet, scoobys ben out for a while heck the mini s is just the first year hear in the states so im being reserved..
and it never will get all the looks and awws that the good ol' mini gets from all ages and types of people.
it makes one smile that a car can create so much happyness in young childrens eyes and make grown men drool its truley an amazing soul capturing stylistic and engineering marvel of our time witch sorry to say the scooby is not it just a sedan with 4 wheel drive oooooooooooooh.
so like people have said your loss and in my opinion the car was to good for you!!!
oh yea and my good ol 86 fiero with a 450 hp 350 lt1 will see you in its rear veiw!!

When was the last time a wrx owner was asked about his car?
Well, i guess when they were asked to move it so a MINI could park there.
I hope he enjoys the Subaru for the short time he has it.
We all know how well Subarus are built and the resale value....LOL
