Show us your pre-delivery pics!

Anyone rushed over to the dealership right after you got "the call"? Before the dealer washed and prepped your car for delivery, did you dropped everything and high tailed it so you can finally see your ride after weeks/months of waiting?

I did . I got "the call" in the morning. Then I rushed over after work. At the time the insurance and financing were being taken care off. I could've faxed over my insurance info to my dealership but nah!

I asked my MA if I can swing by and he said no problem. By the time I got there, my car was moved into the serive area so I can check it out

I would have loved to see my car fresh off of the truck, but alas, my dealer was 3 hours away...

Nice MCS. Remember, those rims are going to be a pain to keep clean, and you have loads of dust on your bonnet!

I would have pics... except that I was in school in Virginia and my dealership was in Pittsburgh; not to mention I didn't get "the call" when I had been told it would most likely come, so when I called the dealership a week later I was told "oh yeah... that's been here for a week." Bah!

I got to go see my car about 4 hours after it got off the truck. It was sitting in the back of the Classic Toyota lot with all its siblings.(They unload all of their car brands in one place.)

Here are the pictures from my phone.

My dealership has the new cars arrive at a location a few miles down the road from the dealership (the dealership lot area is small) where they are prepped. They have a flatbed truck bring the car to the dearlership on the day that you are picking it up. I was at the dealership doing the paperwork with my MA when the truck pulled in with my MINI.

My MA (Julie at Classic) sent me pics the same day it arrived at Classic. I was about 600 miles (and 3 weeks) from taking delivery at the time. It was great to see Issi even before the wheels were swapped out. There are pics in my gallery taken at Pre-delivery.

Thanks also to Mike Kost who actually delivered my MCS, Mike did a great job stepping in after Julie left Classic.

I should add that my MA passed me off to some other guy, who was going over general instructions, warranty, etc., while he pulled my MINI into the little show room and took care of dusting it, etc. I was getting in "trouble" for paying absolutely ZERO attention to the guy going over the info, as I sat staring at my car. At one point, I just got up and walked over to the car... that was teh end of any explanation

Nice pics Funk Flex!

We used to live in Northern Jersey near your dealership...in fact that is where my brother-in-law got his two Minis....we almost drove out there if they could have gotten us a better dealer. It was not going to worth the drive out.

Good luck and get pictures!

Don't take this the wrong way, but Mikey must have been the dealership "B!tch" for a while delivering cars. My salesman was Bill, but Mike delivered my car to me as well. If I'd have known who he was when I went in looking at the MINI's, I would have bought from him. I've got a picture of a few friends on my desk at work and his older brother is in it (a good friend of mine) and my dad works with his dad sometimes.

We were on vacation when the MINI arrived at the dealer. We drove home from the airport, dropped off our stuff and headed straight to the dealers holding lot!!
All the new MINI's waiting for their owners.
Here it is.
Yeah!

I took delivery August 29, 2005.
