^^^^LOL! I debated posting that one, too! But the one I did post looks like the iguana is motoring with the MINI and I love his open mouth (his supercharger)!

Lazy Lizard..fast mini

Glad you all like my boys

wikedgolf-
He's only fast when he's scared of something...which isnt too often. The recycling truck is about the only thing that scares that thing anymore. he's become a fat spoiled lazy lizard!

MINIclo-
my b/f gave me that nickname. never known anyone with that name!

Wowza! Pretty neato. I don't know jack about Iguanas. So does he have his own cage? Or does he just run loose in the house? How old is he? Or is it a she? Or.....anyway, love the pictures...

This is too cool. We have VERY similar MINIs, down to the UJ roof. I had an iguana years ago who got so big I had to give him away. Now that I have a yard, and live in the tropics, I am currently building an outdoor cage for an iggy. I've been looking to adopt one, but no luck. I think I need to rescue one from the petshop.

BTW, they are wild ALL OVER down here, but I wouldn't wanna try and catch one of the bigger ones. They bask along the canals.

Cool. Now I want to see some trick photography that makes it seem as though the iguana is the same size as the MINI (or bigger) and lounging on the roof or attacking pedestrians. It could be like Godzilla meets MINI.

OK, I'm twisted.

I was named after my grandmother! Interesting that "Clover" is a nickname...LOL! I've been mistakenly called Crystal, Heather, Poppy (?), and Blossom!

Godzilla

Donna/Mike-
He has free reign of the house. He sleeps in a separate room on one of those cat tree things with a light attached to it for warmth. he comes downstairs on his own to sit on the sofa in the sun. He's even potty trained His name is Turkey or Turk. It started out as Turquoise (he used to be that color) When he got big and turned orange his name became Turkey.

Kentiki- Awesome Mini! You have excellent tatste!
Glad you're thinking about another ig! Sounds like a dream environment for one! can't imagine seeing them in the wild. My ig is such a house iguana, he only stays outside for no more than an hour before he's going back inside to his sofa and heating pad.

Jray- I may take you up on that challenge
twisted is right up my alley, have you seen the sulcata burger?

MINIclo- That's awesome. My b/f likes to say: "cant spell Gloves without 'love' " and so i guess you can't spell Clover without 'lover' LOL

Thanks! What's even better about Chile Red now is seeing how good Iguana Green looks in front of it .

Got any tips for taming a new iggy? I'm looking at getting one that's about 8 inches long, so it's not that old. Your ig sounds very smart--right about now I'd love to crawl home to my sofa with a heating pad on it!

Taming Godzilla

Igs are probably the most difficult pets to have. But also the coolest! Males can be a pain in the ****, especially during mating season, but are so much more colorful and get a lot larger. I've had Turk for almost 11 years. Got him when he was a hatchling. PM with any ig questions, I'll be more than happy to help

Now I need to get a pic of my Iguana next to the MINI. Iggy is about the same age as yours, maybe a bit older.

Judging by the look on Turk's face I'd say he wanted to go on the next NorCal run Maybe a nice soft pad on top of the dash....

Great pics! Thanks for sharing them!
