we have one of the covers that hook to headrests for our 90 lb mutt. with the seats down and the cover on he is a very happy dog, and the interior is happy too!

FWIW, I don't think I'd get the leather if you anticipate carrying dogs. From what I've seen either the cloth or leatherette would hold up better. The neoprene covers are cool! (Thinking about it for my kids, grubby little monsters!)
