Moment of Silence

I really hate posting anything this upsetting but over the weekend we lost 2 fellow motorers here in Louisiana. They were not members of our club here and I have never met them but they were still fellow motorers. Let's Keep them and their families in our prayers. Here is the news article:

OAKDALE, La. (AP) - A one-vehicle crash killed two people on Louisiana Highway 10 east of Oakdale.

State police ay 22-year-old Lacy Johnson of Kinder and 22-year-old Breann Sonnier of Lake Charles were pronounced dead at the scene.

According to troopers, the 2004 Mini Cooper car driven by Johnson was traveling east when it left the roadway at a curve and struck three pine tree stumps in the north ditch. Johnson was ejected from the vehicle. Sonnier remained in the car.

Troopers said Johnson was not wearing a seatbelt and Sonnier was buckled in.

Please be safe out there everyone.

It's always very sad when someone gets killed.

This post has brought wonders to my attention...

I'm starting to get curious what it would be like in a fatal crash. What wrong moves did they make to end up dying? What right moves do people make to miraculously survive crashes?

I'll go run some tests and get back to you guys on this one...

...

Oh okay, fear not, I'm not going to test my questions. I know you all love me, and without me this community just couldn't stay together. I am the life of this party! So put your tissues away for a rainy day and use them for an umbrella.

*dances for delusionary*

...And now might be a good time for my own moment of silence... may they rest in peace...
