Wife bitten by MINI bug

I will have had my MCS for 7 weeks tomorrow and thus far have put 1800 miles on it, mostly weekend jaunts here or there around the state of Wisconsin. I think what started these MINI mini trips was the first one we took to get a loaf of bread. We stopped 75 miles later. Good bread. I never thought getting a loaf of bread could be such a great adventure, almost forgetting the excuse for taking the MINI out in the first place. Then I discovered I didn't need any excuse other than the pure pleasure of driving my MCS.

Well, my wife has been bitten by the MINI bug. After having my MCS around, she wanted her own. I emailed my MA a couple of days ago to see what he had in stock or coming in as an MC PW/B. As luck would have it he has almost the exact MINI coming in without the rear fog in three weeks. WOW! In fact it's sitting on the dock in Oxford! We can live without the rear fog.

So before long we're going to be a two MINI family. His and hers! The neighbors are going to think we're crazy.

One more welcome from a current 2 MCS family. It makes sharing the MINI so much easier! I caught the bug from my wife.

Ah, kids grown and gone. No more soccer games, choir practice.....just motoring in the MINI. Or it will be MINIs. This also keeps peace on who gets to drive which car.

Yes, well, I always wanted a MINI, and finally got mine last November, much to the (initial) dismay of my fiance...Now, next time HE buys a new car, he's said he would like to seriously consider a MINI too!

This car is SO good at making friends

We would be a 2 MINI family if we didn't have so many darn DOGS!!!

We work with a Greyhound rescue group and have four of our own. The week after I took delivery of my 2005 MC, I had to run the wife down to the MINI dealer to assess her options. She wanted one bad and had three on the lot picked out, but chose not to 'cause she didn't feel she could get enough dogs in the back.

I think she still wants one bad, but is waiting to see what the Travler might offer.

Who knows, we might be a 2 MINI family in a few years...

If you get rid of the rear seats, you could probably get 4 dogs in the back.

We had two greyhounds and three CRX's a few years ago. Just ordered a MCS (on the boat yesterday) and will be using it to transport the long legged sleep-aholics.
I bet you can get all 4 in there without a real issue.

This is a good thing. It should make it easier to add things here and there to the MINI without having to explain or justify it. I think you guys out there know what I'm talking about.

Having two large dogs (well not St. Bernard large but 100 and 70 pounds), it not so much getting in them there but rather the damage they can easily do. Claws can easily tear the leather, scuff up the plastic and of course the pup, the 100 pound male, constantly wants to sit in the front (yeah right). Its just not that simple. Nope, dogs are not allowed in the MINI if you want the MINI interior to remain pristine.

I want to be a 2 family mini also, but the inconvience of getting service is what has kept me from selling my vehicle and ordering a 2nd mini, we have to drive 3 hrs to the dealer to get service.

We're about 75 minutes from one dealer and 2.5 hours from the dealer we bought from, so this didn't stop us from buying a second one. Besides, MINIs never break, do they???!!!!
