I was a July 19 production; finished July 17, and booked on the 27th too. I'm having trouble figuring out at the shipping site, when the boat on the 27th is due to arrive. Is is Aug 7th, or isn't it posted yet.
Maybe we should get a group with minis on that boat, and meet in NJ to get a first peek. I'll bet the hang up at customs is that the agents have decided that each mini must be test driven before being let through-- for National Security, of course! Come to think of it, maybe I'll see if there's a weekend opening for a temp customs agent in NJ-- problem is, I will test drive mine, and keep right on going!!

How can you tell when your MINI is scheduled to get on a boat? My production date was July 19th, but my MINI was finished early and awaiting transport on the 17th! = ) How can I tell where it is now or what stage it is in....I'm getting anxious!! Also, does anyone know how long to expect from transport date to at the dealer ready to bring home?

Go to http://www.wlna.com
Click on Global Web Site up in the top right
Click on cargo tracking (left side)
Click on Auto. Enter the last 7 digits of your VIN, hit enter
That should give you the info

Slightly, majorly plagiarized from a post by Peter, but I couldn't find it again....just what I had printed out.

Mine now just changed to Awaiting Transport but when I check the site you suggest, it says no item of that ID....
BTW, It's a full month ahead of schedule!

It says no item of that ID because it is not yet on the ship....I don't think it shows up on the wlna website until your Mini is actually on the boat. Even then, apparently the shipping company is having software problems and have to enter everything manually so you may not know the car has been shipped. For example, my car was shipped on July 13th but it read Awaiting Transport until the 18th (a couple of days before the ship docked in New York)....now she is at the Distribution Center. Just keep checking the Mini site....as soon as you see your Mini is EnRoute, you will be able to track it on the ship.....

>>Seems like a lot of people are getting their cars ready ahead of time. Do you think they are in the middle of a large production increase now?>>
Maybe they didn't order xenons or something? B/c I've been noticing that A LOT of people have been pushed back over the last 2 weeks - particularly S models. So maybe Coopers are being pushed forward.
