However much it would take to buy a 2007 BMW M5 touring with a manual transmission - In Lemans Blue with the Alcantra leather. I guess that would be around $90k.
Well in fact I am letting it go...for a mere 18K, paying off my current credit union loan...and buying a mildly-spec'd MCS for approx $25K...so three cheers for more car payments!
Mine sold for $22,500.00, did an in&out at the dealership, got a tax brake for $1,406.00 so simple math got $23,906.00 out of it, after 14 months only $1,600.00 loss. But there is a lot of funny posts out there, far away from reality

I'm actually think of selling 3 of my cars including the MINI to buy the M6, I always wanted that M5 engine but couldn't see myself with a 4 door Sedan unless it's an SUV but not a car, now they finally put that engine in a 2 door coupe and what a beauty that thing is.
2005 Mini Cooper S Convertible triple black, PSS9, F1 GS-D3 on chrome 5 spokes, New MSRP $46,000 in Canada, 1,650 miles, I would sell for $40k Can.
You would save $14k Can. compare to a new one if you consider tax and upgrades.
at this point, i'll take anything above what i owe to get rid of the car payment and high insurance. I'll miss the mini, but i want to try and live on my own before i keep one for good :(

Same problem here. I pay a fortune for my baby each month in car payments and insurance. Even with every discount available for my insurance its still high. Then there is the price of gas which keeps increasing. To fill my MINI with 93 octane its the same price as to fill my Mom's SUV with 87. Even though I get better mpg.
I have looked at buying a Toyota Corolla and paying $100/month and putting in 87 octane fuel to save money. I think this will come true if I decide it will be the only way I can move out and be on my own
