That's good news. I was spec'ing an MCSc last weekend and I hated the fact that space cloth (or the tartan/leather combo on the cabrio) wasn't available.... now I don't need to waste my money on the full leather

I hope it's coming. It's not on the configurator yet. I just put in an order at Long Beach MINI. I hope i can get it in before I get a production number

thebill,
Don't fret, the leatherette is fabulous. I have the space grey cloth, but if I woke up tomorrow and magically had the leatherette, I'd be just as happy. That was the hardest decision for me, I changed my mind on the interior fabric vs leatherette endlessly and finally let my kids decide. If you decide you prefer the feeling of a cloth type seat, you can always order some seat covers. The Wet Okole ones are great and come in bunches of fun colors, and once you get your MINI you'll be looking for excuses to buy more goodies, so think of it that way!

My MCS had leatherette by mistake, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. If you can't spring for leather, leatherette is great!

The only way that MIB will get seat covers is when I have the $$$ for custom Kazkins and those will be leather!

if you just got your production number you should still have a few days to change.
