Got my MINI covertible !!! Now with pics

Hi Everybody!

Just got my Cooper S Convertible last Wednesday after a 4 week wait! Came a lot faster than I thought. It's a Cool Blue MCSC with blue top, sport package, LSD, rear fog, body colored dash and chrome interior. What a great car, handles like a dream and is pretty quick. I love how the car not only gives you great dynamics but also appeals to your senses as well. It is beautiful inside and out and it makes the sweetest sounds when driving, love the burble and whine!

Erik

Cool blue convertibles represent! If I had an actual sig you'd see my actual car. Congratulations!

If I could've gotten cool blue on my tintop that would've been my color too. Good luck with the new car. Happy motoring & welcome to NAM.

You mean this is normal? How cool is that. I was afraid to ask, because going to the dealership is such a hassle, then I'd have to go without my Mini for a day or two

Great word to describe it too......Burble

I got the same car an '06 with LSD, but no fogs. Highly recommend getting XM and iPod solution quickly. I now think my car is twice as much fun.

congrats.... I have had Betty now for two weeks and she is a dream. Now this is a woman that knows how to please a man...... Fast, easy, makes great sounds when handled did I say easy. Great lines and curves, great ride, never complains, and her whine as the supercharger goes from 4000 to 5500 rpm is a sound you want to hear... unlike the whine from any other woman..... Gotta love her.

Thanks Everybody!

I will post pics as soon as I can. It's really tough to photograph cool blue. Pictures can never really captures the depth and brilliance of that color.

Congrats!

Your first mod should be the wind deflector - you won't regret it!

Happy motoring!

Congrats on your fine purchase. Before you go and spend gobs of money on cool hop ups (oh yes you will, I guarantee it!) you should pick up some essentials. Make sure you pick up a good protectant for your cloth top like 303 aerospace protectant. It will keep the top looking like new and keep stains from setting in. Also make sure you give your new car a good wax job to protect that beautiful cool blue color.

Oh, I almost forgot. Make sure to keep a good pair of sunglasses and a hat in your MINI for those top down motoring days.

Now stop reading these threads and go open motoring!!
