R50/53 How long would you keep your Mini?
My MINI has progressively bored in to my brain so far that I can't bear the thought of getting rid of it. Lord knows, I tried! My only current prospect is consideration of a possible '09 50th anniversary edition, should such a thing should ever come to pass. However, now I'm thinking of just adding some 50th anniversary graphics and keeping my Cooper. I know this is sheer madness.....or perhaps love. I can't tell.
This is a type of car you buy once and drive it till the wheels fall off. I plan on keeping my MINI well past 100K miles. The MINI car is like porches, not matter what year it is, they don't lose thier appeal. Value is only in the eye of the owner. If I must, I will just buy another MINI and add to the family
The thought of selling or trading the my MINI is a nightmare. My ears are rig loud when I hear people wanting to sell. AAAHHH!

maybe its one of those "firsts" that you never forget or something...
True on the statement that it isn't a porche. But its the same theory. Why on earth someone would even spend the money on a car like that when a MINI delivers the same feeling.
I will say what does catch my eye, is a classic MINI, anything 80 or older.
