My First Mini was an 88 Rover Red Hot edition that I named Roxanne, cause she was red and shortly after I bought her one of her head lights went out.

The next MINI we got was a 2002 Liquid Yellow/ Black MCS that was named Bumble because everyone said it looked like a bumble bee coming down the road.

The latest MINI is a 2006 Pepper White/Black Checkmate MCS that we named Bumble's Angel cause she was exactly what the wife wanted on the show room floor at the exact time we needed a new MINI, cause I treed Bumble, so she is our Angel.

The names just kinda came to us. One should come to you hopfully or maybe some one will say something about the MINI that just sticks in your head.

Either way good luck.

Mr. Minster
I think you may already have a name. I still have named mine, waiting for it to come to me, though it does drive me nuts some times, esp. at club events cause I'm the only one whos MINI doesn't have a name .

I named my car Beatrice. I pronounce it (Bay Ah Tree Chay).

"Say it in English and it sounds like a vegetable but in Italian it sounds like a cry of desperate passion." quote from a book

Well, finally named ours Cheez. My son actually helped name it after a character from one of his cartoon shows. Some imaginary friends show. The character was so funny I was laughing the whole time it was on TV. So, when we were trying to come up with a name my son thought it appropriate. I was smiling when I saw that cartoon, and I smile everytime I drive Cheez.

Made sense to me.

I just could not think of a good female name until someone suggested it was a good car for Auric Goldfinger. I liked the name so I now call him Auric.

I wanted a British sounding name, of some kind of female vixen. Something out of a Bond movie...

But then I saw Austin Powers (the first and best one), and I thought the name of the character that Elizabeth Hurley played was vixen-esque enough to do the job, and she's British too!

So therefore, it became: VANESSA

We named our 2006 CR/W MCS, "La Roux" - the russet-red one.

Winston.

The MINI looks a little like a bulldog from the front, and somehow a little "Winston Churchill-esque." Thus the name.

He's a great car.

We liked the Wallace & Gromit shows so for us the name was an obvious choice.
