I had not too many reasons to be there often, but I found the staff I met there when I visited, eventually selected and then bought my Cooper S nice and helpful. I will be there again early next week for my first service appointment at mile 11000 and change.

Global was one of the Dealers I checked when I ordered mine. They were 1k over the cheapest Dealer I found, adding some delivery fee.. Then tried to sweeten it up by saying I get free floormats and free detail and a free tank of gas? Does that equal 1k? Needless to say, my business went elsewhere. I payed excactly what miniusa.com quoted me.

I stopped there for some urgent service on my MINIs first road trip, service was very helpful and dealer facilities are in the top three of the nicest I've seen amongst the dozen dealers I have been to.

And tire rotations are not covered under warranty I asked one dealer to do it not knowing this they offered to charge me 80 bucks but said it was okay to save my money and take the MINI to a local tire shop, I've since spent 40 and picked up a jack and stands.

Ask to speak to Jeff Ferguson. He sold me mine and is always very helpful and understanding regarding any questions or concerns I've had.

I bought an 03 MC and an 06 MCS at Global Imports Atlanta. I was very pleased both times. The only negative in my experience was being ignored at the accessory counter. Other than that, I have always received good service at Global.

I just bought my '06 MC through GI, and I had a good experience. Everyone I have dealt with has been nice. I haven't had to go in for service yet, so I don't know that side of it. There's always Hank Aaron MINI.

Purchased an 05 MCS April '05 and an 05 MCSc Aug '05 from Global. I found the sales department was ahead of the curve (MA); Service Assistant (SA) graded out a 4; parts department graded 5, and the service department a 3. Having said that, the service department appears to be improving. Overall compared to all the other dealerships I have dealt with thru the years they rate the very best. Now that may not be saying a whole lot about the other dealership.

I recently had my very best experience in purchasing a new car when I bought an '06 Solstice at Royal of Atlanta.

I had a very bad experience trying to pruchase a vehicle from Stephen at Global we ended up walking out feeling very betrayed we drove over to Hank Aaron-class act I might add. We worked with Nicole Walters ordered a car on the spot. Global should get their act together and insist that their MA's not Lie to customers and worst yet not to put it in writing and in front of other customers. Amanda is Global's only Saving Grace she was a dream to talk too and a very special lady to bad they don't make her a MA! I will add that by going to Hank Aaron I ended up purchasing the SAME car (it was in production from a third dealer so I dealer traded before it set sail) and saved about four to five thousand more from what Stephen quoted after he emailed me the quotes and talked on the phone.

I have found them to be very aloof and unhelpful too.As I have said I think their sales dept is very poor and Parts dept is a cash cow for them based on the prices they charge!! Obviously I live in the Atlanta area so my choices of dealers is limited. Has anyone had dealings with the Mini dealer in Greenville, SC?? Or are all Mini dealers full of themselves??

They have been pretty darn nice to me. No problems at all.

You have to remember, it's a car dealerhship... they want your money and are not your best friend. I have worked at two dealerships and would say I've never been to a MINI dealership that was *anywhere* near as bad (pushy, slimy) as the ones I worked at.

Their parts are a little pricey though, but you can just take a ride to H.A. or better yet, order for cheaper than any dealer online.

Stephen was my MA and I had an experience that was completely opposite of yours. The pricing of my MINI was exactly what it was on MINI's site except for the dealer fees which weren't but $500 more. He made a historically painful experience quite the opposite. All the way from ordering my MINI to following up with me for updates to the delivery day (which was a great day and the attention given to me was unparalled) to helping me with a minor warranty issue. That's my expience with him.

My warranty issue was with the top of my cabrio. I took the car in at the scheduled time and they were suppose to have a rental car ready to go. I was going to have to wait for two hours for that. I passed and they had a driver take me back to work. They repaired the switch by the next day, washed my car but left it covered with water spots so it was cleaner when I left it with them than when I picked it up. They came to pick me up when it was ready. The day after I picked it up another safety switch had gone out of alignment. I have a temporary bandaid put on it so it's working for now. When or if something else goes that is covered by the warranty or the next oil change then I'll have it taken care of then.

Outside of that I have a hard time getting the service department returning my calls to schedule an appointment. Eventually they do. So overall I'm very satisfied with my experiences with Global and will continue to do business with them.

Without going into too much detail......we were lied to (blatantly), mistreated, and we had to kick and scream with MINI USA to get what we deserved. We don't like them (Global). It did get worked out in the end, but it was insane.

My hubby says he wouldn't trust them to fix his lawn mower.

I test-drove at Hank Aaron and they were great. Got lost on the drive, was gone an hour and they didn't seem to mind the least. Said they'd match another quote if they had to.

I ended up "settling" for an MC, not the MCc HA had me up for. In my calls (Nashville and Atlanta: I live in Birmingham), Scott at Global was able to peg me a ride- the Model, color, package I wanted (well, it came with CWP which I wouldn't have spec'd) in an '06, already onshore and unclaimed for the most part. Waited not ten weeks but ten DAYS! (I called Ken at HA and it was off the radar: simply not available. Sorry HA )

Global stayed late to make it happen too. I've no complaints, YET.

Hank Aaron was very good, I bought the car at sticker and they even took half of the car prep fee off. He knew I was a poor kid fresh out of school. No baseball though.

I dealt with Chris Wichary there back in August.

I did take the car in for a SES light and when I came to pick it up, the tires showed evidence of a harsh "test drive."

Now that I have moved to The Cincinnati area, I took the car in for its first service to Cincinnati Mini and I was VERY impressed, better than Hank Aaron for sure. They even gave me a loaner 2006 MCS 6 speed.

Ocean, just for clarification. Global and HA usually ask MSRP for their MINIS. To saved $4K-$5K you had to have gotten your MINI under MSRP. I could see some difference on the dealer fees, window itching, etc ($200 to $500) but I have never heard of less than MSRP.

I have bought two 05 Coopers and probably will buy an 07. You telling me HA sells for less than MSRP?

Maybe he means the big picture, like finance charges etc. That would be the only explanation that I could think of.

Ya Call, Global did WANT over sticker, above thier $500 prep fee which I refused to pay! By the way I use to work for one of the largest dealership franchises in the US so I'm not a dummy when it comes to purchasing vehicles and I don't mind a them making a profit but there offer left me speech less! And in the end when both offers were put side by side I would have spent almost 5k more from GI, this was the exact same vehicle and VIN # mind you. I had the build print out from both dealerships on the car with all options the same.
Oh well, it was Globals loss not mine, I'm driving that car today and lov'n it!

I bought from Hank Aaron. They will try to charge you the $500 dealer prep fee but can be easily talked out of it.

As to the service departments I don't care for either one. I got mad & fed up with Hank Aaron & tried Global for my oil change. The service man at Global got a glazed over (deer-in-the-headlights) look when I asked him some technical questions so I gave up on asking & then he offered to do a 4 tire rotation for $191 ( guess he though I had stupid female written across my forehead ). Also for me, Hank Aaron is easier to drive to so I will go back to them for my next service but I am equally displeased with both service departments.

As did I, the same one that owns Global actually . I paid exactly what MINIusa said the car was going to cost. That's pretty weird that they would want more, I have never heard of that at an east coast dealer.

Global wants $500 prep fee and $399 Doc fee amongst other things
This is how they charge more than MSRP.........
I assume HA charges sticker w/o additional"adjustments"?
