So I was driving home from work as usual and some truck a few cars a head of me hit the brakes hard so I move from the left hand lane to the middle lane but the car in front of me did the same thing and hit the brakes so I tried to go in to the right hand lane and got squirly and ended up against a tree with a branch where my head usually sits.





You can see the eye from the light housing.

I am fine but really sad. Just a bump on the head.

OMG! I'm so glad you're ok. it looks like it could have been SOOO much worse! mostly it's important that you're ok and hopefully you'll be able to move on once the grieving process is over.

 

We are looking for a nice used MINI. It all depends on what happens with the Ins co and how much we get for it. She is totaled. the roof is half gone the side is pulled off. I was in tears.

 

I would be amazed if that fixed and certainly wouldn't want it back (if it were mine). Glad you walked away from it.

 

Definatley looks like a write-off. Ouch.

Did you have it towed to Niello? Did this happen today? I just came back from dropping my MINI off at the dealer and I didn't see your MINI there yet. Did this happen today? I assumed that it was towed to the shop so the adjuster can review the damage before it's towed to a shop... Let me know how this turns out or if I can help in anyway...

I've got them and when I had the suicidal hedgehog finally succeed on one of my road trips, they authorized repairs without even seeing the car!

 

It was towed to the tow company in davis, I dont think that it is going to get fixed. As much as I love her She is dead. The roof is crunched.
