So glad you're okay! Bumble looks just like my MINI so that's especially painful to see.

So very glad that you are still here to tell us about this. You might want to let MINIUSA know about the air bag thing. Seems like they should have deployed.

Dude that is scary. I'm glad you walked away. Were you sore this morning? I got hit head-on in my '86 CRX and I felt okay afterwards (pumping 100% adrenaline) but the next morning I could barely move. Like all my joints were frozen. I also had occasional dizzy spells for about 6 months. I should have gone to a doctor like people are recommending to you.

Best of luck to you!

OMG ! Poor Bumble ....but I'm glad you're okay...wow....that would be a moment when my meds would stop working and I would develope the personality of a crazed boxer with Touret's (sp?) Syndrome and the driver who caused this whole chain reaction would be ducking for cover ... Hope your next one gives yo as much fun. Mick

P.S. ImaVunDerBrah is selling hers...and it is a yellow MC with a black roof....you can check it out on the thread "Your Favorite MINI"... M

I am practically tearing up reading this this morning. I'm so sorry. I do understand how you feel, believe me. I look at it this way: Bumble did what he/she (?) was supposed to do, and protected you!

But when (not if) you get another MINI, you'll be very happy.

Oh yeah, nice words everybody. It's what "community " is all about!

That looks like a nasty impact. I bet that sounded really, really bad. Great that you are OK. It just goes to show how quickly things happen. One minute you are just cruising along and the next...bang!

Bumble should live again, no matter what the color of you new MINI is. And yes, you should beging shopping immediately. Insurance should provide enough to get right back into the MINI of your choice...that's what it's for! As much as we sometimes complain about our cars, they really are strong, safe little beasts.

So glad to hear that there are no medical issues, but go to your GP anyway. Good advice from all here.

Take care, get some rest and give an extra hug to those you love. You never know...

Bumble, i have a mini motoring in motoring heaven. Let me tell you this-If you still can, get things of the car to remember it with, like the shifter ****, and mini emblem. The floor mats are also a good idea to be used on your next mini.

I am thinking of taking a couple of friends with me to get my stuff from the car. I had just bought new tires. I wonder if they would notice if she was sitting on the ground?

I just got simple things that wouldnt go interfere with insurance. I got the center steering wheel airbag cover, the shift ****, the either front or rear mini emblem, and the 4 floor mats, which are in the new mini. I also got everything out of the glove compartment...everything. Goodluck man, sorry for your loss..

this made me really happy to read for the fact that you are doing so well. if i would have seen that apart from you talking to all of us i would have thought for sure the driver would have sustained far more injury.

i'm proud of bumble and how she protected you, but am sincerely sorry for your loss. it's never easy to lose one of the family.

good luck on your search for bumble2, and i hope she treats you just as good, if not better then bumble did.
