First I'm going CR/B MCS. I've narrowed it done to 13 choices for matching bonnet and boot stripes, but can't decide. Anyone got any recommendations from or beyond what I'm looking at?

here is what I'm looking at

Option 1: Viper stripes to ground - body color grill - body color grill rim
Option 2: Viper stripes to ground - body color grill - black grill rim
Option 3: Viper stripes to grill - black grill and rim
Option 4. Option 1 + black scoop
Option 5: Option 2 + black scoop
Option 6: Option 3 + black scoop
Option 5: Option 4 + stripes alternate to red over black scoop
Option 6: Option 5 + stripes alternate to red over black scoop
Option 7: Option 6 + stripes alternate to red over black scoop
Option 8: OEM style plain black - body color grill and rim
Option 9: OEM style plain black - body color grill - black grill rim
Option 10: OEM style plain black - black grill and rim
Option 11: Option 8 + black scoop
Option 12: Option 9 + black scoop
Option 13: Option 10 + black scoop

I'm kinda leaning toward 13

I've included some rough cut and paste/color in jobs of some of the options. And thank you to whoever took the wonderful picture of the front of their mini before I butchered it.

The style of viper stripes I'm considering on a silver MCS

Think I'd see about blacking out the inside of the lights on this one as well, seems like I saw a thread about painting in there.

That is one form of Shelby stripe on the silver MCS.

 

I'll take your word for it, was in a thread about viper stripes so I went with it since everyone selling them seems to call the same stripes something different. But they look damn good so I guess that's all that matters.

Seriously though what exactly differentiates between the two? Do the thinner outer lines make it Shelby/cobra? I've seen some with these lines label vipers as well, so I'd love to actually know what the difference is.

If I could place a vote, I'd go with #3 - viper stripes with JCW grill. Go clean and simple.

 

Yes. The thin outer part of the stripe is what makes it Shelby. Both styles
have two stripes going through the center of the body. Viper stripes would be solid. In both cases the stripes can also stop and curve inward where they meet the top of the grill.

 

I would go with the Shelby stripes in a dark frost color.

 

Could I ask a question along these lines? I have a PW MCc w/OEM black bonnet stripes and I would like to add boot stripes too, but don't know how they would look with chrome hinges? Any pics?

 

See? Way too many choices...by the time you decide you'll be exhausted, poor thing....
