I chose black/black for my 05MCS because I didn't like white or any of the colors. I might have gone for an '06 Solar Red, but it wasn't available in the S. Good thing because I would have taken a huge (-)$$$ hit.

Would I consider a repaint? Possibly. I've always wanted a candy-apple red car like the General Motors colors from the '60s. I guess it would cost $2000 or more to do it right...all I gotta do is hit the lottery!

I yelded to my wife's color choice (chilli red) but like all other things on the car that I thought I might not like during the ordering process (and to be clear I was okay with red - just not my first color choice) .....

I love the car and EVERY item that I thought I might not, when I was on the ordering and waiting process.

(I am an engineering / analytical guy and think about all sorts of little details that more easy going / care free people would not even think about.)

I don't regret my color choice, but I wish the color could change with my mood. SB/S or BRG/S is I'm feeling conservative, PW/B if I'm confused, CR/B is I'm aggrevated. Personally, I think the MC looks good in pretty much any color.

My EB/W is way cool. It's reminiscent of the '60s Marina/Daytona blue found on the Chevelles/Corvettes. It actually glows.......way way cool.....Plus it's the same color as my wifes eyes.......way way way way cool........Les

No.

(Although I sometimes think about Hyper Blue and Purple Haze............ )

I think regret is a normal thing, but after you select the color and can't do anything about it, be positive and enjoy what you have.

Had mine for 3 weeks now and still love the way the Purple Haze does change in different light. Boy, am I glad she steered me away from some other colors.
Originally I wanted BRG, but found it too dark in person, but if I could afford tan leather seats I might still have got that. Then planning on IB, but that was discontinued, so was thinking HB or PH. My wife made the final “recommendation.” The silver roof is gorgeous w/ PH. The car makes me smile almost every time I see it as the purple changes hues in different lighting situations.

Well I will say that I had my heart set on pepper white with black for the longest time...but when I took my wife to the dealer she called the color beige and made a face that I couldn't live with everyday of my life ...so I changed my mind...and I must admit, i'm glad I did...Now if they made a grand prix white there would have been no doubt about my choice.

It's not so much that I regret my color choice, but that I have grown to love other MINI colors as well as my own. I see another MINI on the road and I think..."my, that just looks so awesome!"

I was seriously tempted to get an EB/W Cooper back when EB was going to be extended to Coopers, but in the end that somehow didn't happen in the US market and I was denied.

In the end, IB/W turns out to be very, very "me", has the classic look I crave, and looks stunning in contrast w/ the chrome bits. I'm very happy.

I love my BRG. The only regret is that it was not offered as a non-metallic (which would be the true BRG). I appreciate the look of other colors, but it would not be mine if it were not BRG.

I love my EB/W MINI and haven't regretted the color choice for an instant. It's bright, cheerful, and retro-classic all in one package.

The only color that might have tempted me away from EB wasn't available in '05, and that would be Silk Green. If it was available, I'd probably still have an EB, but it would have been a much harder choice.

I sometimes regret getting a white roof with my HB, but mostly because I kinda want to run some black or gunmetal rims, and I don't want too many color schemes going on. I guess the black molding will help me out on that one.

However, if they had offered a white that was brighter, kind of like BMW's alpine white 3, and not the creamy white that is currently offered, I probably would have done white/white.

I have hyper blue/white. What I regret was not getting the white rims. So now I bought a set of white rims to put on in the summer time, put the silver ones on for winter. So it's not too bad.

not for a second... blue is by far my favorite color and HB is close to the perfect blue to me... but every other MINI I see looks great. I just couldn't picture them in my parking spot

Love my CR/W MCS. This is my second MCS so painted in this color combo. Like it because it is very in line with tradition and generally is a nice color that goes well with the shape of the car. Red has proven to be a very easy to maintain color and also has proven to be a winner at time of resale. The white roof is great and does not show the amount of dirt the black roof does. Besides, a red MINI is always, always faster!

Before getting my second MCS I briefly toyed with the idea of going either Liquid Yellow/White or Hyper Blue/White, but kept coming back to CR. I just love red cars! Also CR/B crossed my mind (looks gorgeous) but there is something about the white roof that I like better. Can't quite explain what it is.

As for our '02 MC, we love the Pepper White/Black combo. My wife much prefers the black roof over white or same body color. Pepper white is a fantastic color to maintain, looks great and hides imperfections like no other. Very forgiving when the need arises to use touch up paint.

Our other choice back in 2002 when we ordered the MC CVT was velvet red/white and sometimes we regret not getting that color because it is very rare and has been out of production for nearly 3 years.

We'll see what the R56 color pallette will bring to the table next year.

same here blitz! I will be getting some white wheels for summer also, but I'm wishing I had the white xlites. Then again every time I see how much brake dust and crappy winter salt has collected on them between washings I guess it's better not to have the white ones. my suggestion to anyone speccing a car with white top... get the white wheels. if you don't like them someone will ALWAYS trade

The white X-lites are sweet but collect (or rather show) too much dirt for my liking. Hence I got the silver X-lites instead. Show dirt but not as bad as white rims.

If you like to wash your rims every 2 days, then get white w/white roof by all means.

We wish they still had Indi Blue in the later years. That would've been the color we would choose, but we got Hyper Blue instead. I don't regret it though and I don't think it matters much once you're inside.

That said, I intend to repaint Morgan alpine white when he needs a paint job.
