Awsome MCS cop ride!

Wouldn't you love to be stopped by this cop? Sweet. It even has the aero kit, and awsome rear spoiler (is that the John Cooper works??...and the coolest stripes I've seen yet!
What do you guys think?

**Sorry is an MC**

Although I would not want to be stopped by any cop, I think this German police MINI cruiser looks very good.

Oh, and this car is not a MCS. It is a regular Cooper!

Are my eyes playing tricks on me or does that hood look a little more angled than stock.

BTW. Cool car.

That car has the 18" JCW wheels and the JCW rear spoiler. It probably has the JCW engine kit as well.

I bet Gabe from motoringfile could figure this one out in a second. Love that guy, he seems to have good sources.
Anyways, i noticed it didn't have the scoop but I have a feeling that this car is much faster than an MCS...but I could be totally wrong on this one.

hmmm...nice try. but I go with the german. pure white with green stripe, awsome lights and full JCW kit including the rear spoiler!!! (JUST COMPARE THE COP LIGHTS>>the USA version has the leftover lights of a crown victoria and the german version has made to fit)
IMO it justifies the higher taxes bar none!!

I think it looks pretty good too. Remember, this is a German Police car. Germany isn't hellbent on having speed limits so low that >90% are elegible for a speeding ticket at any given time.

I say they probably dropped the M3 flat six in there and lengthened the hood.

Don't think that applies here. If I remember correctly, the emblem on the door is for the city of Munich. The areas of Germany without speed limits are not around the major cities. Around major cities, their speed limits are close to ours, and the penalties for speeding are much more strict than in the US. Fines often are based on the income of the offender.

It would be awesome for getting around the narrow streets!

What grill is that? I think that is what is making the hood seem a little off, along with the shadow. Looks like the grill sticks out or sticks up a little bit. Now my eyes are playing with me. :impatient

To my knowledge...
Polizei did not enforce speed limits while I was there: they have cameras for that. Thus, the MINI doesn't have to be THAT fast. The crest inside the emblem is for the state of Bavaria and the "M" on the plate is for Munich. Definitely a lot easier to navigate town in that little car than in the 3-series they might use. No doubt they tinkered with the engine anyway...

PS: cops over there DO NOT play. You resist: they whoop ***. Not many people run.

I like it in Taiwan. When people start being chased by cops, they all run assuming they have a car capable of doing it since the cops there don't use helicopters or anything. It just becomes a huge race.

I agree. you don't want to run away from a EURO COP. Remember that is more common to drive an average of 160 kph (90mph) on highways (120 kph or 75 mph US as a legal benchmark).
I am originally from barcelona, Spain but moved to US at a critical driving stage so everytime I went back home, I was amazed to see elders flashing their lights at me because I was driving slow on the left lane (slow = 85mph)...needless to say I got the grove pretty quickly on my sisters BMW 325.

I often think a MINI stealth cop car is needed on our highway, because so many do stoopid things in front of me.
The German version is cool, but low profile light bar would be better.
