R50/53 Help Name Me!
Help Name Me!
I just bought a 2006 MCS with JCW package today. The car is Pepper White with a black top. It has black bonet stripes and English leather. It has all the options. It is beautiful. It also has the web-spoke wheels. I need to name him/her. I wanted to know if anyone has any suggestions. I am getting rid of my Dark Silver 2003 MCS, which I named Monte. Let me know if you have any good suggestions for my new baby!

After some discussion with a bunch of coffee buddies, we came up with the following: Carlo, New Monte, Pepper, The Screaming Penguin. Congrats on your new baby!!! Red Erik is still somewhere between here and there...but soon...soon!

I'm kinda partial to screaming penguin as well...just don't name it the screaming pelican (the reason is not for NAM ears...we'll just say that would be bad.)
maybe if we had a little background info of things you like or plans you might have for graphics and such.

I went pepper white over pepper white and I plan on painting the arches some day. Someone on the Texas MINI board mentioned that it would look very 'Stormtrooper', so my MCS' name is Jango, after the father of all stormtroopers.
I stumbled across the name DOMINO that I think fits a PW/B car perfectly.
Sometimes you just have to live with the car for a while and the perfect name will jump out at you.

Goodness...we forgot to ask Jonathan if his new Mini was a hecar or a shecar! That would make a bit of difference, although you could always name the Mini "Pat." Still like Screaming Penguin, though.
I don't know if the car is a girl or a guy. I thought my last one was a guy, but friends/family always said guys should have girl cars. I couldn't change Monte's name once he was named though. Who knows. So far, I think I like Pepper, but I do like the idea of a manly British name, but Clive just doesn't do it . . . Thanks for your help . . . keep 'em coming.
I kept trying and trying to come up with a name for my MINI. Names I tried just didn't seem to fit. She's a 2005 convertible (hyper blue). One day, just driving along and NOT thinking of a name anymore (sort of) it hit me. I kind of feel like she told me her name. Molly. So, Miss Molly, she became. It will come to you, the perfect name, all in good time.
