A friend of mine is very interested to know if a mini with pick up body is in the works?. The older minis used to have pickups, handy for a bale of hay perhaps, he says there used to be mini woodies. Any info will be appreciated. Thank you

According to my husband who went to a MINI focus group last year, they said they had no plans for the pickup, but are planning on the convertable.

this was done a couple years ago by MINI as a design exercise. I don't know if it'll ever be produced.

What I want is a Moke. It would be totally cool if they would do an update on that with the new chassis.

I hate to be critical of any Mini, but I just really don't like the look of any of the Mini Conv or pick-up versions. I think the conv just looks like the new Gulf conv (Cabrio). The pick-up version wouldn't even have as much cargo space as a ford splash, you know the one thats a mini truck with sport sides. Its just not aggressive looking. Can anyone let me know why they think it is a good looking or practical vehicle in pick-up or conv form.

See ya'll,
Frank

Sorry to be slightly critical, but what's the point of having something like that?
