When I pulled into the parking garage at work today, I was thrilled to see that there were 2 other MCS's parked right next to each other! So I joined them, and that made 3 good lookin' cars parked next to one another...

That got me thinking - how many people do you work with have MINI's? How often do you see them in the parking lots at work?

 

im the only one cool enough at my workplace to have a MINI. But i see 2 at school besides mine. A gold one, and a Pepper white one.

 

Thats funny, there are also two more Minis at my work place... At the MIA FedEx ramp.
But they are pilots so I never get to talk to them...

 

My MINI is all alone. But I don't drive him to work(I don't trust some of my coworkers enough to park him next to them).

 

I am proud to say I was the first to have a MINI, then we hired someone with a BRG Cooper, and my good friend just ordered an '06 MCS, and we have one other guy driving a restored original Mini S (from Brazil or something with right hand drive).

Slowly but surely we are taking over... I think I may have a couple more people signed up!

there are 3 at my work alone, and i will be adding the fourth in the next month.

In the garage there are usually 4 or more on any given day

 

I have seen the following at work (keep in mind there are about 2500 employees where I work):
1 CR/B MCS
1 EB/W MCS
1 IB/W MC
2 LY/LY MCs
1 CR/CR MCS
1 DS/B MCSC
and probably a few others I am forgetting.

 

my MINI doesn't have to go to work.

 

I'm the only one at my work, but there are only 250 employees at my building!

 

I see 5 or 6 on base, but only 2 or 3 seem to be into the whole Mini thing. There is a Chilli red that I park beside when I can but he never parks by me, and he is the only one that parks in the same lot as me.

 

Just me. People stop by my desk and as if I'm the girl who drives the MINI.

 

I have the onlyone at work. I only see one or two a week if I lucky driving to and from work. I do get alot of looks and people checking my car out.

I've also seen two CR/W's, a LY/B, LY/W, JB/JB and someonw witha DS/B said they hang out here. But that's in the whole office park... i'm the only mini at my job of 60 employees.

 

Two other people in my office of 1,000 have MINIs (that I know of)....one a PW/B CVT Cooper and one a PW/B MC. I, of course, was first w/ my IB/W Cooper.

Now, I ride a train to work. Cruising through town and the various "park and rides" I only see one other MINI in the lots...a DS/B MCS. At my particular station (hundreds of cars) I am still the only MINI.

 

man, i couldnt ever imagine working for a company that has 500-1000 people working there!

im just so used to seeing the same 6 or 7 people every day. i'm the only cooper owner, but, down the street a bit, theres a guy that has a DS/DS S and a Blue G35.

 

Well I park my MINI all alone. I know there are at least 3 other MINI's on base and they are MCS's. I really don't see another one unless I go see my friend with one or see a nice little old lady in her MCC at the gas station.

When I was working full time, MR ECON was the only MINI in the lot. Last year, there was one other MINI in the parking lot at the college where I teach part time. This year, MR ECON is the sole standout in the lot.

 

There are 2 others that I've seen on our lot. I've parked next to MCS JB/B from time-to-time.. not sure who drives it The other one comes in after I've arrived.

 

So...am I crazy? I always try to park next to a MINI if I see an open space, it's like a feeling of comraderie or belonging to an exclusive club or something...do others do this too?

 

Not around here....

Most MINI owners up near me are old women that just give you wierd look when you wave or beep or flash the headlights.

They might dent my door. I still park at the end of the last row in every parking lot.

 

Well i work with maybe 30 to 40 people max.... and like I said there are 4 MINIs among us. Not a bad average I say!

 

The train station in NJ I use every day (Princeton Junction) has a vast vast parking lot and I walk the length of it every day, checking on the health and welfare of all the MINIs. Normally I see around 5 or 6 each day but occasionally it has been more. There is a wonderful blue S cabrio with white stripes and driving lights that always parks in "Space #1" of the lot (he must get there at 4:30 am) - hugely conspicuous. Recently there was a MINI parked in one part of the lot for a solid week or so (owner must have been on an extended trip) and I walked by every day to ensure all was well. The numbers have really swelled in the last year or so - up to that time there were hardly any to be seen on a regular basis in the lot.

Come next month, I am ecstatic about the thought of adding my CR JCW Cabrio to the local herd....

About 1000 people where I work, 5 MINIs altogether. 3 of us are "car guys" who try to park together in safe spots, the other 2 are "guys with MINIs" who try and find the closest spot to the door.

 

everyone I work with drives a MINI! Well...maybe not the receptionist...but shes thinkin about it.
