I gotta disagree w/madam monkey here. Pepper White w/black is THE combination IMHO. If they offered that for the S, we would have ordered it.

BTW: my response here is a definite sign that I should go to sleep. ops:

Currently, I don't think you can order any more Silk Green, last production in January ( I could be wrong)
So, it looks like your choice is PW/B.
There might be a remote chance of a Silk Green MINI somewhere that has been pre-speced by a dealer. Good Luck on your search and/or choice.
BTW, Velvet Red would be an excellent choice

Pepper white/Black looks amazing! It's by far my second favorite color after Dark Silver/White.
Reminds me of vanilla ice cream or white chocolate. I want my girlfriend to get one!

I just picked up my PW/B (with antracite interior) last night! It really is a classy and incredible combination. Trust me when I say that you will not be disappointed.

I will have some pics up hopefully in the next few days depending on the weather (supposed to get some snow).

We are few. We are mighty. We are Mini. We are PEPPER WHITE!!

Both colors are really nice - BUT - because the Silk Green has been discontinued - go with that

Ohh congrats Tony, you got your baby!

...and on that note, if you are looking for a Cooper color, I'd say Velvet Red or Pepper, Silk..she is no more.

Need more opinions??? Both color combinations are nice, but if silk green is a realistic choice (a car on the lot) I'd get that just for its rarity. SG/W is a very nice combo. Good luck!!!

Silk Green with white, are you kidding??? I'll be picking my baby up on Monday (SGW) and it is the most beautiful color I've seen yet in a MINI. It's a timeless and classy color, the white top giving it a retro feel. It's also the most unusual color out there, so if you like being different, then go for it. I am assuming, however, this is a car on a lot since they don't make them anymore.

DS/B. I really like the combination though I've heard it is the most common (there aren't any others around here). We thought about red and black and definitely think the black roof is the way to go because it works w/the black trim around the wheel wells etc.

Bo BOLD! Go with a color. Why be just another white car on the road. Make a commitment to pick a COLOR. Do your MINI justice!

I was torn between VR/W and PW/B. I went w/ VR white top because I like the idea of the white top and VR is gorgeous & classy. The white top came from the MINI's racing days. The top was white so people watching the races could easily follow the MINI's. So, I thought that was cool and wanted to stick w/a white top. However, I have seen both the PW/B & SK/W and both are very nice looking although between the 2 I lean towards the PW. I disagree w/the comment of it would just be another white on the road. It's a unique off-white color and really cool.

You can't go wrong with either choice. Just NO GOLD. We need a Gold boycott. Awful choice from the MINI folks. It cheapens the look of the MINI.

Pepper White/Black all the way!

For those of you "experts" that claim that the MINI's PW is just "another white car in the street" you are DEAD wrong!

Pepper White, first of all, is not your Chevy Lumina frost white and dull color. This color is gorgeous, has a cream tone to it and looks very British Vintage (Jaguars of old, etc).

The car looks fantastic and gets many stares and compliments. If you want one of the CLASSIEST colors in the regular Cooper, PW can't be beat.

Take it from me, a person that has never been fond of white cars...Pepper White is in a whole different league.

Also Silk Green has absolutely ZERO history and tradition to it in the MINI.

I am glad MINI got rid of it.

I just looked it up on the BMW ordering system. Silk Green is no longer an orderable option. You would have to get one used or by some miracle find a dealer that still has on in stock. I know we don't. Sorry. Good Luck.
