I second that!

Thanks to all at Phil Wicks Driving Academy and all the instructors for putting on a great track day at Laguna Seca. Special thanks to Mr Randy Webb (my instructor ) for showing me the lines of the track! I know you were terribly busy that day racing and instructing others, but the advice you gave me paid huge dividends when I was out on my own.

Great day, great people, great food, great times!

Mike

Me too!

I also had a great time at the event - haulinS, you got lucky to have Randy! I also got lucky to have him take my car for a few laps (that guy is a magician!), and then ride along with me driving for a few laps. Kudos to Randy for taking the time just before his race to show his stuff!

I've got some critique regarding the event, but I'll save it for later in the thread.

Has anyone received their photo CDs from Sideline Sports Photography, the professional event photographers, yet? I got mine recently, and I'm curious about what other folks got for their money. I've posted reduced-size, resampled images of all the pics they sent me, 57 images total.

Still waiting for mine..altho my credit card has been "hit" for the cost. Hopefully soon.... as my camera challenged co-pilot didn't get as many as I would have liked. Lots of photo's but no cars in them or out of focus.

All MINIs and a couple of Minis, John. ONly two seriously out-numbered Corvettes. Wendell and friend.
And the Cobras just need more schooling.

It means I'll see your Harley and raise you one Lotus. Meet me at the overlook on 129 and we'll discuss the discount you are giving me on that '06 MINI. <<<<<<-------- See me laughing at that one.

Sorry about the thread hijack folks. I have no self control.

Nice bike. We were thinking about a new Triumph. I'm not much of a biker though. Your sig is too big......put it out in the cold and shrink it.

Whistle, whistle, whistle,............ killing time waiting on a CD to come in the mail. Lucky am0eba has a wife who takes lots of good pictures and has paid extra money to expedite his track pics.

Hey, thanks for the compliment. I was just kidding, that's not my sig, just popped it on there. I may actually be selling that bike, if you know anyone, let me know.

Yay!! Got our track photos today. What luck to have several shots of the two of us in the corkscrew. I think that was the only time we were together on the track all day! And I swear I used more than one finger to point him by!

That track looks a lot cleaner than Nashville. I don't see any gravel. That's my kind of track. Go ahead Donna you can say why, you know you want to.By the way, great pix!

There was plenty of kitty litter, John.

For New Years I resolved not to make fun of people who use their MINIs for agricultural purposes. OOPS Didn't last long did it?
