Just head south carefully and then you will be just fine. The tires are not terrible and you will most likely be staying on interstates that will be mostly clear even if it is snowing.

Just take it easy. . .

yeah i figured i would be fine. DSC and me being cautious enough of the situation to take it easy... I am sure I will be ok

My Fiancé isn't as confident in the situation. She gets scared easy.

My advice - head south quickly! And hope for good weather!
I went from VA to CA in Feb. and got cocky with the good weather, so stayed on 70 vs. going down to 40. Nasty blizzard in Kansas, but my 1/2 worn all-seasons did just fine. Being from CA I admit I was nervous as all get out - didn't want to rack up my new car before it saw my home State! DSC kicked in a few times in the torrential rain (before it turned into the blizzard:impatient ) It was a nice safety net.

If you have ever heard ANYTHING about Winnipeg, MB Canada before....likely that it was d* cold and there's lots of snow....both true.

Believe it or not I am currently driving mine in some light snow and icy roads with the 18" JCW wheels and performance tires (only because we're waiting for our 16" lightweight winter/Solo 2 rims with GY blizzacks). It's not terrible and the DSC, ABS and traction control takes hold if you're a little too randy out there.
My advice, just be careful and you'll be fine.

If you got the computer option....

enjoy the 37 degree outside temperature audio "ding" warning....

alerting you to freezing conditions and possiblity of road ice...

Might be one of the few times you hear it....

Happy Thanksgiving
