Jack included?

I know this is probably a stupid question, but perusing the online owner's manual, I am still getting a vague feeling about this. Does the MCS, despite its runflats, come with a jack and tire tools? Thanks. I just got my aftermarket set of wheels/tires yesterday for my enroute car and was wondering if I will have to buy a change kit too.

Yes it does it should be in the boot (jack, lug wrench)and a small tool bag in the drivers side cubby in the boot. At least they use to.

Yep, I took delivery of a 2005 during the summer and it came with a jack. The tool kit is located where the battery is.

Tools in a bag in the boot, along with a first aid kit in the side compartment and warning triangles mounted on the bottom of the shelf....very nice!

Chasing the tool bag. Confused.

Seems that MINI has had all kinds of configurations of tools, tool bags, jacks and combos. In the 04 MCS the toolkit is in a pouch in the left boot cubby. and the Jack straps to the boot. In the 04 the whole thing seems next tothe battery.

Can anyone provide an accurate history of the evolution and migration of the Mini tool/jack systems? Help!!!!!

My toolbag and manual were stolen from my 04 MCS before I bought it.

depends on year

early 02 S = no jack...

no inside strap to release the boot on power loss either ...

anyone buying used should check...

neither of these omissions that some might consider safety issues, ever resulted in a recall.

We took delivery of an 05 MCS in June. Jack in bag strapped on left side of boot. No triangles, first aid kit, etc.
