I'm not sure if everyone knows about this, but everyone should, and if it means someone says "hey, buddy, *this* topic already covered this", then that's OK by me. Back in December, "car" magazine did their performace car of the year article, and ranked the Mini Cooper S as #4! To put this in perspective, the only 3 cars that beat it were the SL55 AMG, the 575 Maranello, and the Pagani Zonda S. The Mini beat the Murcielago, Lotus Elise, Audi RS6, the Maserati, the WRX STi, among others. It also earned the title "hero car of the PCOTY 2002." Not bad, huh?

 

I was elated to see the MCS rated so high on the list, among cars that are much, much, did I mention, much more expensive!

I know! My son gave me that issue as a stocking stuffer.

 

Amazing....Simply amazing....Man I love this car.
