Hi Everyone,

After I ordered my MC (for April delivery...I hope), I was told of a dealer added extra called clear shield. It's a clear covering developed by 3M to protect the front end of the car from ‘insect stains and abrasions, scratches, nicks, small road debris damage and winter road salt and sand’. It’s $349 which seems a bit expensive. Does anyone have this? For those who do not, do you think it would help?

Thanks,
eb

Here’s the URL to their web site. I wouldn’t pay that much. Check out the product prices at the web site. Also it depends on how much shielding you are getting for $349.00. A number of kits are available.*** Motor On ***

My dealer wanted $600! Besides the price issue, though, I didn't like how the line where it ended on the hood was so obvious. I thought it really detracted from the beauty of the car's front end, much more than a few paint chips would.
