I feel like 17 again

When I was 17, and just got my license. I would have the urge to drive my parents car everywhere. I'm 28 now and that feeling is back when I pick up my stick shift MCS. I'm not sure if it's my first stick shift car, or is it because of the Mini. I get that same feeling that I want to drive everywhere. Every road feels like my first time driving on it. I don't care about gas, mileage. I just want to drive and I'm already holding back, keeping it under 4k rpm because of break in period. I never thought I'll get this feeling again. Lets hope it doesn't stop.

I'm 28 as well, but haven't gotten my MINI yet (week 44 I believe), so this story is quite inspirational! =)

I'm 35, and have had my car almost a month. A lady in my office asked me "how is it to drive a kiddy car", I answered... "I don't know about kiddy car, but I drive like I'm 17 again!"

50 and a few months till the next one. I have now been grining for over 2 years now everytime I think, look at, get into, or motor in my MINI.

I do 100 miles everyday on my commute. I grin the whole time

I am 41 and my wife says I'm going through a mid-life crisis to which I reply, "I should have had a mid-life crisis a long time ago".

I'm pushing 57 and own an 06 MCS, 04 VW R32, 91 300zx TwinTurbo, and a 65 VW Beetle. Not an automatic in the bunch....and I love them all. My wife and I switch off depending on our mood.....But we are thinking of a used Lexus LS430 to take the place of one of the lesser autos. Need something really comfy for trips and special occasions...but that won't be for a couple of years....

Oh, but in deference to my advanced age, I do occasionally drive in the lefthand lane at 50mph with my blinker on.....
