Does anyone know if there is a web site out there that collects all the MINI Technical Service Bulletins (TSB)?

I did a few searches and found one pay site that appeared to have stuff that's a few years out of date (now why would I pay for old information?).

It seems like these TSBs are kept very hush-hush but you would think there would be some enterprising mole out there looking to perform a public service or make a few bucks...

I dont have any Technical Service Bulletins, but they have a lot of things like that listed.... BMW calls them something different - at least I thought.... Too many acronyms !!!!

 

This page is run by the NHTSA and lets you search by year, make and model. I believe the manufacturers are required to notify the NHTSA, so you can search this database to get any history and TSBs that are out there.

Alldata has info, http://alldata.com/recalls/index.html, but I do not know if it really stays current with the manufacturer releases.

 

The real question is, does that TSB also apply to Cooper Ses? They didn't have a separate selection option for Cooper S in the list, but might also be because they don't have any TSBs out for the S.

 

Thanks for all the responses. I wonder if there are 2 kinds of TSBs, ones they share with NHTSA that address safety issues and ones they don't that address quality issues (like convertible top wear, glass wear and the like) that they only share with dealer service departments? Anyone know? Does BMW have 2 sets of books? :smile:

 

I beleive that report might be for Cooper only and NOT the Cooper S... not sure though, will call my sa tomorrow!
