Which would you choose?

I'm leaning toward RG...I think.

 

I haven't seen either color in person yet, but from photos and color chips, I prefer the Space Blue - the shots I've seen of the RG seem a bit too brown for my tastes, but I can't say for certain until I see one in person.

But I really think SB/Silver would be a sweet combo - if I get around to ordering an '06 MINI, that'll probably be the combo.

Either way, you'll be getting a new MINI, easily identifiable to MINIacs as an '06, so ya can't lose no matter what ya choose. . .

 

Well, since you can't get Electric Blue anymore I'd go for Space Blue, but then I only really like the bright colors like Chile Red, Liquid Yellow. Electric blue. Pepper white is OK.

Space Blue isn't bad IMO.

Whatever you order you will probably have second thoughts. When your MINI arrives it will be the best looking MINI you have ever seen.

 

I like Royal Grey a lot from the samples I've seen. I like Space Blue, too. Before long we will actually be seeing some gorgeous MINIs in person in these colors and lovin' it!!!

 

Saw the RG on miniusa, then on the dealer sample bubble. It does NOTHING for me whatsoever. To me it just looks...weird.

Space Blue. Then again, I'm a blue kinda guy.

 

I really like the Royal Grey Sample Bubble at my dealer. It is really not brown at all. The closest thing i can think of is dark silver, a little darker, with a little bit of BRG thrown in for good measure.

If you could order it with a black top, I would be ordering that instead of DS in the spring.

I'd go with Space Blue. I think the Royal Gray is too grown up and serious for a MINI.

 

At first I was sure that I wanted Space Blue, but when I actually saw the color sample at the dealer I knew it would be a terrible color to keep clean. Now I am torn between DarkSilver/White and RoyalGray/Silver.

Ohhhhh the problems of specing a new car. Do I just get the same color as I have now or do I get the new RoyalGrey/Silver? Ohhhh the decisions.

 

My car on order is Royal Grey with matching roof. I'm going for stealth look and I like its dark tones. Planning on some anthracite or dark bronzed aftermarket wheels to go with it.

 

I went with Space Blue/Silver, it's sitting in Southampton right now so hopefully I can show you a picture in a month. Really liked the new red, would have loved that with a silver top, but couldn't get it in an MCS.

Royal Grey with Silver currently in production. Really would have liked Gold but that's gone for '06 and plus it wasn't even offered on the "S"...go figure

 

Solar Red. Too bad it's only on the base MC.

 

I think that sums it up.

I do design review for free and for pay (so I do it all the time) and am usually confident of my choices. But when it came to my MINI's color I changed my mind every other week until the last moment. When the RG and SB models start showing up at your dealer you will have already confirmed your order, but I bet you will drive to your dealership to make certain and even then change your mind a few times.

But resmini is also right about when your MINI arrives...
