I've had dreams in my sleep about mini coopers TWICE this week, and I'm still months away from getting a Mini if plans go well! Am I losing it?

 

Your not loosing it...you've just got the MINI bug

 

My wife had a dream last night about a MINI convertible as a matter of fact. She said it had an option that would cause the interior to fill with water and become a MINI-spa with jets and the whole works. I better get those Wet Okole seat covers.

I waited two years before I could purchase one without sacrificing financial discomforts. Every week I would cruise the E-Bay and Auto Trader just looking at all the nice ones slipping by.

I waited and ended up with a fantastic deal on a brand new 05 thanks to Mike at Brecht in Escondido. Worth the wait….but tough.

 

Looks like we've done our job around here then.... Welcome to our world...

Aeromax... don't worry about it. Most of us have gone a little wacky about MINIs at one time or another.

I spent over a year debating, and countless hours on here reading everything I could before finally biting the bullet and buying my car. And then the 2 months I had to wait for it to be built seemed like an eternity. But it is all worth it in the end.

What color are you going to get? Which model? What features?

It gets much worse as time goes by...

 

Well, it will definetly be an S. I'm not terribly particular on the color, as long as it isn't yellow or purple (no offense yellow and purple owners :P). The other colors I all like, but I favor pure silver, but also the darker blue, darker silver, pepper white, and black. I also like electric blue, but I guess they don't have that on the 06's. I'm hoping to be able to walk in and just pick out of the one or two '05's that will probably be left (at least at the Fairfield County mini dealer, dunno about the others), instead of ordering and waiting for an 06. I don't want a lot of options anyway to keep the price down, so long as it has xenons and the LSD. If it has that, and is any color other than yellow or purple, I'll be as happy as can be. I'd like to keep the price at 25k or less. Basically, I want my mini so bad, i'll take it whatever way I can.

 

No actually last night when I dreamt of it the second time, it was an automatic... Which will MOST definetly not be the case in real life!

 

Thats Nothin! Just wait until you have it and get up in the middle of the night like at 2AM JUST to go look out the window

You won't have to worry about dreamin ... you'll have to worry about getting SLEEP!

 

I told my mom/gf/dad that when i do get it, I'll probably dissapear for a weekend and put like 1000 miles on the thing lol.
