I just checked out discovery.com, and the Monster Garage that we have all been eagerly anticipating will be aired starting Feb. 24th, at 8pm and 11pm EST. Here's what they had to say...
"Mini/Snowmobile
Jesse and his gang take the challenge to convert a brand, spanking new Mini Cooper into a snowmobile. This machine blasts through powder, blazes up the ski slopes and flies over snowboard ramps."

I don't see it as destroying a MINI. It's upgrading it. Artwork comes in all shapes and sizes. I think it's an honor. It's marked on the calendar. Go team MINI!!

Hmmm...so I take it they'll be adding some kind of track drive to it. How freakin' cool! Think about it...you could put your skis/snowboard/sled on top/in it and drive to the top of the mountain!! Hee hee...

I can't wait to hear all the jokes they make about it while working on it.
I wonder if they'll tear out the interior. They probably will want to make it as light as possible.

Can't wait, should be good. I also want to hear what kinds of things they have to say about the MINI as they rip it apart. Jesse doesn't really seem like a MINI type to me, though I imagine he would appreciate the handling and performance.Motomohair, yes, it is Jesse James from West Coast Choppers.

Last week the changed a PT Cruiser into a wood chipper and Jesse ripped apart the PT Cruiser both verbally and physically. It was pretty funny to watch. He actually said the PT Cruiser was a joke and they gave him the car just to boost the shows ratings.

When they finish a car the paint it to match the theme, I think they tryed for something like ICE Blue..... but they did change it from CR/W

Yah, I missed that episode, I'll have to catch a rerun. Jesse definitely isn't the type to hold back his feelings for the purpose of PCness or ratings though, hehe. It will be interesting to see what he thinks about the MINI. Like I said, I don't see him as the MINI type, but you never know...

Going by the predictable nature of the show.....
First the cooper will drive to the snowy fields, drive up into the snow...then snowmbile track and motor will "drop" down from the boot....possible some front mounted skis will position themeselves on the snow and then....it will go for a spin....
What makes it even less interesting now, for me anyways.... is that GOD AWFUL PAINTJOB....
