Kentiki's new S

Hi all,

Here's my new baby. Just drove him/her home last Saturday. Not sure yet, but I think it's a boy. '05 S, still pretty basic. Now, I gotta save up for some chrome, driving lights, roof graphics, Alta CAI, etc., etc.

Wouldn't you know it, after my family telling me 50 times to NOT speed, I pull out onto the main road yesterday morning, and a motorcycle office pulls over a bunch of cars, including, I thought, me. This was 5 minutes after I left the house. I lower the window, and he says "you can go sir, HE'S the one I want" (as he points to the SUV next to me). WHEW!

Beautiful car Ken! Almost looks exactly to my '05 MCS minus the Xenons, the exterior chrome package and the Union Jack Roof flag. I see you went with the 16" Silver V-spokes...wise decision!

Make sure to come by and visit us this Thrusday nite at the Best Buy in Kendall Drive and SW 124 AVE to show off your new ride. Minis of Miami officially welcomes you to the clan!

Ken, I highly recommend you installing a clearbra on your new baby. Paint chips will start to show up in no time , So I highly recommend you contacting Glenn Anderson at www.accuguard.biz for the absolutely BEST Ventureshield clearbra product in the market. He installed mine 2 months ago for only $345 and this including a FULL kit, headlights, bonnet, front bumper, front grille, front marker lights, front fogs, leading edge of roof, side mirror caps, hood scoop. The bra includes a lifetime warranty and it is nearly invisible and superior to the competing 3M products in the market.

Glenn installs clearbras in new MINIs at Lauderdale prior to delivery but you can contact him directly for the special Sunshine Minis club member discount Tell him I am sending you, ok?

Enjoy your new car. I heard your wife's convertible is coming in 6 weeks. How exciting is that!

An excellent purchase! Of course, I might be a bit biased since that's about exactly what my Coop looks like, minus the xenons!

Thanks to all of you! And believe me, this morning I watched the speed limit signs closely.

Hey C4, wait, you have the Union Jack roof? I had that on the '02 Indi Blue I just traded in, and the ONLY other Union Jack roof I've seen in Miami is Chili Red. Do you happen to live in or around Country Walk? If so, I've seen you!!!

I hope you don't mind, but I'm planning on doing the same to the roof again.
But not to worry, since I'll be adding some other extras to set our cars apart!

Ken

p.s. Yes, my wife's MCC is on order as of Saturday! She cried and cried while looking at what to order. At least they still produce Cool Blue, since she wanted to pretty much replicate what she wrecked.

Ken, yes I have the UJ roof flag (Check out my gallery). In fact, this is my second MCS with the UJ. I also had a 2004 CR/W MCS with the chrome bits and the UJ decal.

I live near downtown Miami, but I happen to have family down in Kendall and go there to visit them frequently during the week. Perhaps you have seen my MCS in traffic before around your neck of the woods.

My '05 MCS has the roof flag and the exterior chrome pack. No two MINIs are truly the same, so feel free to chrome and slap the UJ in your new MINI. We can have our own little UJ roof club!

The other day around my condo, I saw a CR/W MC with the Union Jack, but this one had New Jersey plates.

I'll be heading down to Kendall in a couple of hours. Do you want to meet up somewhere in the area this afternoon?

Hey sorry I just read this post now! I left at 1:00 yesterday, and got into the office today at around 2. I've been in and out of photo shoots we're involved in here. Let me know when you are in Kendall again, it'd be great to meet. I'm sure I have a lot of mods questions you could answer!

I can't believe I've seen you. Have you ever been in or around FIU? The first time I saw another UJ roof, it was in FIU, CR MCS. I nearly fell outta my chair. It was great to see another UJ.

Hey Ken:

Yes, I go to FIU University Park Campus so it is likely you have seen my MCS there

I'll be in Kendall again on Friday. But better yet, why don't we get together tomorrow night @ 8PM in front of Best Buy for Minis of Miami weekly meet in West Kendall?

Get to know your other fellow MINI owners and also get to see some cool looking Classic Minis that will knock your socks off

See you there!
