You are SOOO damn lucky man. I just watched your latest vid, and quite frankly I'm surprised that the car did not roll. I was very worried to be honest.

The car should have rolled, I just cant believe it. Please be more careful in future. Other than that, damn good vid, as always.

rolling is just part of the game when you're tracking your car. so what's the

big deal? MA's were rubbing their hands together for the next
sale.

AWESOME video ONASLED!! Except for the one off track excursion that is. You're a much braver man than me. Great driving around the track also. I especially like the parts where you passed the Viper and the Mustang.

 

Everytime I watch one your videos I think my heartrate jumps 25bpm sitting in my chair.

FYI a mini can go completely sideways at about 95 MPH and stay perfectly flat. Nothing like looking down the front straight thru the drivers side window to raise the old heart rate I have to get me one of those in car video contraptions SOON LOL.

P.S even tho your vids make me miss LRP i realize why i moved to Ca. It rains too damn much LOL . How many of your track days have been in the wet this season? Great stuff keep us all in the loop.

 

Randy, I'd say that I've had 2 out'a 9 track days that have been perfectly dry ... . By far though I have not encountered such a slippery track as this last run at LRP. Figure the track has been used about everyday since the last hard rain, about 3 to 4 weeks ago. This was the first time since, so the mix of all the oil, fuel and loose rubber and rain .... ouch!

The guys with the Hoosier wets were still moving along quite well though. My slick RA1s proved better then my half worn Yoki AVS100s by far. Ordered a set of un-shaved RA1s for the rain.

THINK DRY for the Glen!

 

A good spot of entertainment there, thanks onasled. Reminds me of when I drove the Alkan HW over the Candian border in the dead of winter WITHOUT studded tires! Weeeee!!!

Great vid - I loved the captions!

My one and only track day (BMW HPDE at Mazda Raceway/Laguna Seca), it rained all morning, gradually letting up until we had a dry track by the last session. After watching your vid, I'm REALLY glad it went this way (wet to dry) rather than going the other way, like yours did!

 

During commercials. (Tour de France is on OLN - 12:28 PDT)

 

Just watched the vette touch 3g going into turn 1 and pull a consistant 1.7 thru it. WOW
