nice! my friend has the same color combo. it is awesome. he also did some mods to it and it is so fast. he can peel out in first and then again when he shifts to second and if he pushes when he goes to third also. and i don't mean a simple chirp, when he upshifts he can light them up in second. he doesn't ahve the LSD though.

congrats from another recent joiner of the MINI family.

Ever think they quote you longer than it really takes to get your mini to the dealership just to be able to surprise you with a "HAPPY DAY, YOUR MINI IS HERE EARLY!!"

Looking good

I really like the black roof/mirrors, SHARP!

How is the space cloth? If you could pry yourself away from driving, could you take a wider shot to reveal more of the seats? I would love to see.

Cheers.

Oh, forgot - you need some bling on the wheels, like checker, union jack, mini mini logo, etc...

The dealer told me they asked the transport company to rush the order so they could get it before the month ended. They sold a record amount of 50 minis for June. Works for me.

Cloth works for me. I like the looks and the grip of cloth. Will try and get some more pics later.
I'm not into bling... The saleman told me it was the first MCS they received without hood stripes. Even thats too much bling for me...

me too

Hey mikem53. CONGRATS!!!! Very nice looking. CLASSY is the word that comes to mind.

I got my call yesterday too from Hendrick too. Mine is also the Dark Silver, with the R98 rims, but i went with the white top and mirros. I also opted for the cloth. (space gray and panther black)

I pick mine up tonight, bad news is I can't drive it. I just had a boating accident and my leg is in a cast. (my wife is happy to fill in)

I'll post a picture and my sad story tonight or tomorrow?

by the way is that a christmas wreath on the door in that picture?

Congrats to you as well! Nice color choices. Sorry to hear about your leg.. At least you get to ride in it for now. I got to through some radiation treatments next week and won't be able to drive for at least a week. So I too will be missing out for awhile.

Thats my neighbors house with the wreath on the door. Mine is the house with the brown brick and the open garage. Not sure why its up there..
Get to feelin better and maybe we will meet up at one of the charlotte meets... They meet at the hendrick dealer every saturday morning.... I need to make it out there and check it out...

Thanks all for the kind words... I finally got out to drive it after a week of not being able to. It seems like its going to be a fun ride... It's pretty torquey for a 1.6L..
I thought I was going to be strong and not modify it for a couple of years... now I don't think I can wait that long!
Seems like 30 more HP would be a hoot.... but I have to at least make it till break-in is over... don't I?
I don't know what it can do in stock form yet... But it pulls nice to 4500 rpm without really pushing it....
