How Long To Receive Your "Welcome Home" Kit?

Okay, people who have taken delivery of there Mini in 2005: How long did it take to receive your "Welcome Home" Kit from Mini USA?

Does it come UPS or US Postal Service?

I was wondering that, too. I placed my order on 12 Feb and took delivery on April 9 (8 weeks later).

It's now been about another 6 weeks from delivery. The longer it goes, the less of a "welcome" it will feel like.

I never got mine. I took delivery 10/29/04.
I've called Mini USA about this a couple of times but, still nothing. They keep saying to wait 6 weeks.

It's been 6 months.

I believe it depends on whether your dealer participates in the program, so not everyone gets one

I took delivery of my MINI in the middle of February and I got my package at the end of April. So, if it's only been 6 weeks, and your dealer participates in the program, I wouldn't worry for at least a few more weeks

This is the first I've heard of it. What exactly is in a Welcome Home Kit?

I've gotten a couple of emails from my MA since bringing Nugget home, but that's been less than a week ago... pb

Six months!?! In six months my home will be buried in snow and a nice day will hit the freezing mark! Nugget will have had his last coat of wax for the year and will be wearing his studded Nokians dreaming of seeing spring again...six months later!

So does anyone care to tell us new mini owners what the welcome home kit includes?

a local mini club member told me about the kit... but i bought my mini "EXPERIENCED" with 11k miles on the clock.

BUT, it was a BMW courtesy car it's whole life. Would this still entitle me to the kit, being it's first real "owner" aside form the dealership? How can i get it? Or information on whether or not i CAN get it?

Best advice I can give you is to call 1-866 ASK MINI - tell them you bought a Demo car (dealer demos don't usually receive the kit) and see if they will send you one. Otherwise, you might be able to snag one from ebay at some point.

Okay... has anyone ever received the Welcome Home package... who bought there Mini from Las Vegas?

That will tell me if they're a participating dealer. My guess is not.

OK, I picked up my car on Feb 17,2005, no welcome kit yet. I just called ASK MINI, they will be sending it out ASAP, I should have it in 7-10 days.
