Hi all.

I was just at Stew Leonards (a grocery store in Norwalk, CT) and there was a Dr. Pepper promotion going on. They had 6 convertible Coopers that were the color of Dr. Pepper cans! They had all been modified.. the back seats were gone and in place there were coolers filled with ice and cans of the soda. And I guess there is a contest where you can win them (they are giving away around 70 of them) by buying the soda and entering a code on the Dr. Pepper website.

That's AWESOME. I generally consume no soda (pop, tonic, what have you ) at all, but I LOVE Dr Pepper. So much so that I feel compelled to point out that there is actually no period after the "Dr" in Dr Pepper.

Most of the flamboyant promo MINIs I've seen turn my stomach, but I would be... honored to drive one of those. What a great job!!!

 

We all still love you even if you are a DP ***** willing to shill for your fix. Gotta admit I kind of like them too*. I could finally take my coy pet carp for a spin.

Sugary soda drinks are the creation of the devil!!!!! I drink way too much Mt. Dew (is the period in Mt. correct? )...it's one of my few vices, but one that I thoroughly enjoy.....just ask my dentist

yes clo dt dr pepper is included (which is pretty much all i drink) and there should be a code on the inside of the box and all you do is type in the code and you could win - but the minis they are giving away are chili red/black so they won't look like the ones in the pictures above (no dr pepper decals on the side)

I saw a fleet of these cars coming from NYC as I was heading in last Friday. 5 total cars. They looked cool!

 

Man would that MINI rule for tailgating.

Nice job Dr Pepper, much better than Red Bull, that's for sure.

 

When I was ADDICTED to soda, it was Dr Pepper - nothing else.....I might just have to go out and buy a few cases just to get the codes..hum... bet our neighbors kids would like the soda... cause the real doctor says no drinky that stuff anymore...

I haven't seen any Dr Pepper cases with anything on them about this promotion. I assume it says on the box that there is a contest code inside? Is it only on the 12 packs?

the ones with codes have a red mini cooper on them and there are 2 liters with codes under the cap - you should go out and get some today - there are 75 mini cooper convertibles, remote control minis, and mini dvd players (polaroid-that's what i won) and when the promo is over if they have any prizes that were not won they'll give those away by picking through old codes (from what i understand)

 

Have you actually consumed seventy 12-packs of Dr Pepper, or do you work work in a store or a restaurant or something?! Congrats on the DVD player!

 

actually i've been saving boxes with codes in them since april and now i've got quite a few (not quite 70) but i also work (part-time) in a gas station where we sell cold single cans and i save those boxes when i fill the cooler - i wanted to be able to put in a code every day (i know i'm crazy)- i really want that convertible and i love dt dr pepper

 

i got the portable poloraid dvd player that i won from drpepper.com in the mail today - think i'll send it to my brother though (his 2yr old needs entertainment,right?) i'll be too busy watching the road to watch movies, now............if i could just win that d*mn convertible............then i'd be satisfied!

 

There is a Dr Pepper convertible on eBay, decals and everything. I didn't win anything : ( from my code. Ah, so is life!
