I've said it before and I'll say it again, don't much like it, especially with the top down. I'm holding out for a MINI Pickup or "Pullman" style wagonette. They make either of these I'll be 2nd in line, right behind Clo!

well the MINI 'vert is coming. My guess is that most of the 5 cubic feet of trunk space you can kiss buh-buy. Styling will be totally subjective (as usual), however I think the fun factor will be unexpectedly high. Panoramic sunroof - bah!......topless! The interesting part will be seeing the rear windows roll down!
I'm sensing a technical horror-story coming up with the 'vert. Time will tell, as always.

My dealer siad she liked the idea until I showed her a picture of it... now she's not sure. I'd personally skip it. The origional Mini didn't work too well as a cabrio either, hence the small amount made...

I owned an Amphicar back in the early 60's and I think I had more fun with it then my '67 Cooper S. I had some wild experiences, like almost going over a dam and forgeting to put the drain plug in one night. Oh well, those were the good old days!

It's fake... look at the ghosting where the side window supports would be...
also, I doubt MINI will offer up a Cabrio until they situate the 4 door, which would have enough body to allow a drop top. Now a HardTop Convertible Might be the ticket, like the hard top lift off version of the Z3 or Miata or even the Boxster.
