The car looks great.

I have a few questions about the Pioneer NAV unit, because I've thought about getting one. The concept for the unit is neat. The questions are: do the radio/CD/DVD players work off the steering wheel buttons? does the car's dimmer switch dim it? does it attach to the car's radio/NAV antenna? did you connect it to the speed sensor? what radio did you replace? was the replacement a clean fit at the top where the standard radio curves inward toward the dash? Your overall feelings about the unit would be welcome too -- for example whether you wish you had the MINI NAV now rather than the Pioneer.

Great looking MCS with performance to match.

What is your estimate on what was spent on upgrades?
Ok, we'll sit down before you tell us.

Fantastic job in any event.

The wheels I want are very expencive and I am working on that...they are carbon fiber and magneesium....nice speling...LOL....

you will be seeing a mini with wheels similar but not the same on nam soon I have a feeling

Also, I am looking for oooohhhh about 400 WHP...I have been saying that before the minis hit the states...and everyone thought I was crazy....I just kept saying..."it would be the first 4 banger with HP like that"

anywho....there are quite afew otehr things in the works that I find are quite kewl...and when they are done I'll post them....

to generalize an answer

I love it...it will work off the wheel....it will dim...it has it's own very small antenna that is a one inch square that sits behind the radio antenna...you dont have to connect it to the speedo its satalite...it knows...LOL....it fits great! and best of all it has vehicle dynamics such as foward to aft and lateral G meters!!! I have on pulled a g in a corner so far...heh heh...

The interior photos don't do justice to the real thing. Suede looks great in the sun - kind of shimmers. Way to go!

Nice stuff Tuls!!

Congrats on the article and the car looks great. I am thinking the Blue Flash is going to be losing those MINI roots though when it gets some new shoes right??

I have to admit, of all the MINIs that I've seen, yours is my favorite
(also like the white s-lites on it, it makes the all thing look great!)
