R50/53 What would your Mini T be???
What would your Mini T be???
I have been riding Harley's for a long time and my wife and I enjoy riding to new places and to dealers where we get the 'mandatory' T-shirt.
We wish Mini dealers would offer a T shirt with cool graphics designed for their specific dealership.
So your question is this: given your dealership, what would be on the back (or front) of your T-shirt along with the dealerships name?
Mine from Downtown Mini:
Maybe a very subtle castle, (don't want to get the mouse all riled up
) with Palms and sand with a very cool sunset.
A second dealership we visit sometimes in Cincinnati:
something playing off the great bridges going across the Ohio, with the Bengals and Reds stadiums and Cinci's 7 hills.
What say you? Maybe I'll be lucky and dealers will start offereing them and we can start collecting 'the full' set.

Fun question.
I usually prefer a type only treatment on the back (that's why I love the Harley t-shirts. My brother has a Harley and I bring him one back from every trip I take which requires hunting down a Harley dealer).
My dealer is MINI of Peabody...so here are some thoughts:
Slogans
"The Legendary MINI of Peabody"
"We treat our customers like MINI royalty"
For a graphic maybe I'd do something like MINI emblem on the front...on the back I'd have a MINI car graphic that dwarfs a building (Peabody is the smallest car dealership I've ever been in). I need to come up with something catchy for the by-line.

Not necessarily a dealer T-shirt, but I always thought a good one would go like this:
Front: Small line drawing of a MINI, while under it the line "Yeah, it's cute...."
Back: "But it's a badass KIND of cute".

I like this one.
How about a black tee. I guess it doesn't really matter what color, with a large Red "S"(same style as the one on the car) centered on the back and "Mini" on the front upper left hand side.

I would like a shirt the color of my mini with bonnet stripes on the front and back with the split in the right stripe on the back that says "cooper", just like it would be on my MINI's boot...
Then you could do them in all available colors...

Not a dealer shirt, but I had the wonderful folks at www.neighborhoodies.com make a custom T for me.
The front says MINI in white letters, except the tops of letters are black, so it looks like my PW/B. The back has 04 in white "soccer numbers" to designate the model year, and PENNY (my MINI's name) in black letters above.
I'll post some pics this weekend - don't let me forget - I've been meaning to do so for a long time now.

OT: Neighborhoodies is a really cool company that customizes sweatshop-free, made-in-the-USA Ts, sweats, even underwear. I highly recommend them even if you don't want to copy my MINI T. Or get unadorned shirts from www.americanapparel.net
