Scooter's replacement....

He's on his way folks....yes...after MUCH discussion (I won't bore you with all the details), Scooter's replacement is about to get on a ship headed for the West Coast.

And Kudos to Brecht MINI for helping us out with the whole mess. They have been a HUGE help!!

Hyper Blue - white roof and mirrors - white S stripes front and back

Body colored interior, Packages 1,2,3 - Anthracite Headliner, LSD, Lapis Blue Interior, Chrome Line Interior, HK Stereo, Rear Fog Light, Center Armrest, S Lites (to be immediately taken off and replaced with the new tires and rims that we took off Scooter).

Driving lights will be put on and holes drilled for the slightly melted but useable roof rack from Scooter. We'll have the windows tinted and clear bra done at some point shortly after delivery.

No Red this time..........just couldn't do it for obvious reasons.

We haven't come up with a name yet....I'm sure something will come to light soon.

Yayyy!!!! I'll just be glad to get my Cabrio back since I've only gotten to drive her occasionally on the weekends.............Mikes been having all the top down fun....good thing I'm pretty good at sharing eh? LOL!!!!!

I wish you guys Good Luck, and your new HB a smooth sail,

Great news! Glad to hear you guys went with another MINI...how could you not?

I had recent dealings with Brecht too and they are really great guys. Very honest and upfront. Rick helped me considerably with my 'totaling' process.

Happy Motoring!!!

I think that's the color combo I like the best these days, too. I'm glad Brecht helped you out - they're not just a bunch of money-grubbers over there after all!

I think you should name it "smokey" or "hellfire!" or "the blue Meanie"! Hey , let's have a "name Donna and mike's new MINI" contest!

What if anything did you ever conclude about why your other one went up in flames? From what I've read, there is at least one other that went down in a similar blaze of glory. Good luck anyhoo! Jock

Congrats!.. I'm glad you guys are getting another.

Now, I need to ask, are you getting it from Insurance money? Or is MINIUSA fronting? (yeah right).

It is coming from Insurance money - however - USAA has started the subrogation process with MINIUSA.....I'm not holding my breath....time will tell....

Congratulations Donna and Mike! Yay Yay! Hyper Blue is the best! You'll love it! Thank goodness it's coming so soon! Can you imagine what the stable will look like with the varying shades of blue in it!

Yay! Hellfire is good! I kind of like Bluemeanie myself!

Great news, Donna and Mike! I still can't imagine what this whole thing must have been like for you, really. Thank you for sharing your experience with all of us!

Anyway, HB is always on my short list, and I think this color looks best with white wheels. Can't wait to see your pics!
