Whalen: Polished or Brushed w/ Chrome Interior?
And should a short-shift kit be a part of this mod?
Thanks,
Mike

Both! I went with brushed on the majority of the ball with a polished area where the engraving is.

Got mine blasted. Looks killer with silver dash & space cloth seats. What are the colors of your interior?

Blasted here too, and for the same reason. It matches the silver dash so well.

I've got brushed with the brushed silver dash and chrome accents. Not too crazy about it, though, so I may have it polished in the future.

I've got the alloy patina dash and black panther leatherette with the interior chrome (plastic) package.

I would recommend both finishes too. I put it on a Alta Shifter and it is great. Doug Whalen is great to work with and the ***** are beautiful.

Is this **** just heavier, so your shifts feel tighter and more purposeful?

It is surprisingly heavy. I did the short shift swap a few months before I got the Whalen, and it is an AWESOME combo. Recommend performing both.
Doug- I know you are waiting for those pictures still. So am I

It's not just heavier - it is also smaller than the stock **** so you don't need monster hands to grip it

Mine is polished... LOVE it! I was concerned about not shortening, but there's no need to be... it does not feel longer, it does not feel too long. It is definitely heavier... the added weight gives it incredible feel! Oh, I have the patina dash with black leatherette... there is still detail in chrome so it looks great. As many have said before, it's the best mod I've done!
