Oh, and does anyone think it is safe to go to Dragon with a new car??? I'm not sure it is a good idea to go this year, risking running it in the break-in, and I may wait till next year Well, at least next year I can drive it!

Nope not safe at all... The trolls at the toll booths have been known to throw rocks at and jump up and down on cars with temp tags!: lol:

Sure it's safe to come down with a new car! Heck just driving there from PA you'll probably put 600 miles on the car and that's halfway to finishing the break in period right there!

Last year the newest car there was about 14 days old...

I TOTALLY agree, my parents are awesome, but none of you can fathom how much I had to ***** at them to take a test drive. But once the lady with the checkbook took one for a spin, we had a deposit down in 10 minutes . I can't believe how long the school day has been, and I'm not looking forward to baseball practice. But oh well, it will eventually end. I wil try to post some pics tonite. Oh, and I saw it in the dealer lot on the way to school, but it still had plastic seat covers, etc. so I hope it's ready... Anyway, thanx for the advice on the Dragon run. What I really was talking about was the new parts wearing in well while getting to the Dragon. thats the next thing I have to work on with my parents . TICK...TICK...TICK...

Sweetie, do NOT hesitate to drive your new MINI to the Dragon! I drove Wanda there from SoCal when she was a week old! She was superb on the Dragon and yours will be, as well!

Sorta! It's the 5th through 8th of May, which works out to be Thursday through Sunday. Even if you just came for the weekend, you'll still have a blast! (And BTW, nice user name! )

LY/B is SOOOOO hot! I think if something were to happen to IB/W Dobby that LY/B would be my next MCS probably. Or CR/B.

IMHO, my preference would be CR/CR instead of CR/B. It just looks better! If you want a contrasting roof, get stripes on the roof, then finish it off with the boot stripes. THAT would be HOT! unfortunately, my mom has to drive the car (and pay for it ) and she doesn't like the bonnet stripes, so wadda ya gonna do? oh well.
