Long term testing by the Department of Transportation has found that the MINI convertibles are unsafe in a roll-over accident.
Fine with me since I am getting sick of people with the convertibles complaining of blind spots and a too small rear view mirror. It's a convertible, dammit! Put the top down and shut up.
Oh, and don't let me catch you driving with the top down but the windows up. Nothing looks dumber than that! Really now, if you are so concerned about messing up your hair, why the heck did you get a convertible in the first place???

MSNBC just had a story about the MINI Cabrios... being recalled. Owners must return them to the dealership, will get a 70% cash refund or a choice of a new MINI S with JCW or a BMW 325i.
