Has your MINI sat more than one day

Since you have gotten your MINI,has a day gone by without going for a motor?
Except for a week in Cuba, and one really heavy snow day,no one was going anywhere untill the plows showed up,I have motored my MINI everyday for the last 21 months.
I take my MINI out in all kinds of weather, can not imagine not going for even a short motor, and even started it and rolled it in the driveway on the snowed in day

It's tempting for me to take the Mini out every day, but we're trying to keep it as a "weekend" car. She's about 3 months old and has about 1700 miles on it... I drive it about 2 days a week and I don't take it out unless it's nice and sunny out

My MINI will sit for a week at a time ... I have a company car (beautiful 545i) that I use for my daily commute. It makes the Friday thru Sunday driving in the MINI much more enjoyable. Since my new MCSC is on order, I've been driving the MCS more lately.

However, I get pis*ed when I'm in my 545i and see a MINI go by and my wave means nothing to them.

I bought my MINI as a replacement for my motorcycle - which I no longer have and shouldn't have for various reasons. So its mostly my summer and only good weather winter car. So, only have 1250 miles since December but that will change now that spring is here!

The practical reasons for me to buy a MINI were to go 100 miles round trip a day,get good MPG,be and feel safe, and be comfy.
The non practical reasons were to have fun,and enjoy what I was motoring in.
So with the practicals reasons, and the non,I just have to go out at least once a day.Anyone need a quart of milk

If there is a long bout of rainy, snowy nastiness, the MINI will sit home comfortable in not having to run around in the mess. And occasionally, I just give the MINI a break and drive the truck to work for a day or more. It makes motoring again that much more of a treat.

I think I only had one day I didn't motor at least some and that was when my MINI was encased in ice and snow during one of our freak winter storms. I was not about to start chipping ice off that nice finish, much less risk it on our never plowed or sanded streets. I just let the ice melt and headed to the car wash.

Does going out to the garage and looking longingly at your MINI count? I know I do that at least once a day even if I don't want to drive it in the salt and sand and gravel that is our roads in the winter.

If the weather's nice, I drive da Mini. If the weather's crappy, I dive da truck. I figure da Mini will last longer that way.

Only 3 day has gone by that I havn't driven my Mini since I got my it in Dec of last year. So far I've racked up 4800 miles in 3 months. Yes I have a 10,000 yr 4 yr lease too 40kmiles total. I'm thinking about switching that or driving my other car to compensate for some of the miles. I've only driven my other car 2 times in the last 3 months so i'm thinkin she's lonly. I miss it too. But I love my Mini so much!!!

Unfortunately yes. He doesn't get as much attention as he needs. I walk to class which keeps me occupied all day, so during really busy weeks he can sit for days at a time. sooo sad.

When I'm at college the mini rarely gets driven. Sometimes for weeks at a time. My dad takes it out on the weekends when he isnt driving his company car (545i), the ride is too bad on the mini to go to work. Which is all the better for me, as it ready to be driven when i get back!

My MCS is a daily driver and my only car so it’s used 100% of the time I go anywhere. There are some days it doesn’t get used only for the reason I didn’t go anywhere at all.

I got my 2005 MCS 6 months ago and it was driven every day except the past two days. My wife is in NYC this week so I took her car to work and mine has been sitting in the garage.

Her car? It's a 2005 MCSC. Sun has been a shining in Florida!

Driving in Atlanta traffic sucks. It's even worse when it rains. It can't get any worse when there is rain and thunder, like today, so I took the Forester to work. The commute home is going to be boring too. . I won't make this mistake again.

Kewl thread, Lot15 . I am having a hard time with letting the MCS be still long enough to put on the first Zaino treatment . 3,650 miles since January 10th.

I'm in the same boat as Greatbear: I drive my Toy truck fairly frequently during the work week (because UL is much cheaper than PUL) so that means when I get EFR out I enjoy him more.

Ours sat in the garage for 3 weeks over Xmas in sub-zero temps during our trip back to England. Started up first time on our return

Yep, I drive my MINI every day. It hasn't gotten more than probably a week off since the day I got it about two years ago, and I'm still lovin' it!

I took delivery of my new '05 MCS on March 20th, and have only put around 240 miles in the 12 days since I got the car. It has sit a couple of days undriven, because I use Metrorail to go to school (There is really little incentive for me to drive to school when I have fast public transportation)

Gas is expensive too, so you have to measure your car trips.

I was thinking of moving to an apartment right next to one of our train stations (I ride the train every day to work). The motivator was that I wouldn't have to drive except on the weekend. Ironically, the biggest drawback is now that I won't be able to drive except on the weekend. What a conundrum my MINI has created. (shhhhh...I'm staying put!!! )

Yes, my MINI was without a driver for three weeks while I waited for a Quaife differential to be installed in my mechanic's spare time afterhours.

All is well now.

When the weather is nice, the MCS can sit for a week or two at a time. My go-to car when the temperature is over about fifty degrees is a turbo Miata. When it's raining or snowing or too cold to have the top down, or if I have to drive my wife and/or heirs around, or if I need more cargo capacity, I take the Mini.
