I saw an EB BMW motorcycle on the freeway yesterday. I did a little research and found that they're calling it Capri Blue on the bike. I also found this pic:

I got a pic of the one I saw but it's still on my camera. I'll post it as soon as it's uploaded to my computer.

Has anyone else seen EB on other BMW vehicles? Other MINI colors on BMW vehicles? I know Pure Silver is a common color on 3-series...

 

I've seen a Z3 around town that I would swear is EB. No idea what year.

 

The BMWs red (Don't remember its catalog name) seems to be even brighter than MINI's Chili Red.

Electric Blue is also available in the European/Japan market Cooper model. EB looks great in the Cooper, too bad is not offered here so not to upset the MCS owners that already have their "exclusive" paint scheme.

 

biggripper, I've seen Z3's in the color you're talking about and it's not quite EB - it's not as rich looking, just a bit more faded or washed out when compared directly to EB.

Cooper4us, I'm not familiar with the bright red you're talking about. The only 'red' I know of on Bimmers is much more like Velvet Red than a bright red... but I'm thinking of the sedans. I could see a bright red on a Z3 or Z4, or the like. I've seen pics of the European spec Coopers with EB. They look good, but weird without a hood scoop!

If this isn't EB, I don't know what is... according to what I could find on the web, the paint code is different for Electric Blue and Capri Blue (the color on the bike).
